i love plymouth rocks. they're my favorite breed bc they're so friendly. i had multiple breeds growing up and the plymouth rocks were always coming up to be held more than the others

I Have a Plymouth Rock. sadly she's quite skittish. but she hatched a hybrid chicken I cant name. she's called Raven, and she follows me around everywhere. its so cute! Sometimes when I do the food call mother hens do, that sounds like 'Tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk!' raven will come right up to me and eat comfrey leaves out of my hand.

Mine is very friendly, but she isn't huge on being picked up, she just likes to be near me in the yard and gets very fussy when other chickens are standing closer to me than she is, or get between us.

Thats cute! I have a chicken the same as that one, her name is willow, and she hatched a chicken named raven, who is my favorite chicken because she also thinks im her mother, and follows me around for protection. I can pick her up and pet her all over. this shows that nothing is impossible for bonding, as long as you find the right thing.

I have chickens like this, I call this specific type of chicken a "Barbara", if there is multiple "Barbaras" I give them titles for each little quirk they have, whether they are big, small, dont have such good eye sight, etc.
