Yeah this was absolutely our B Team, most of our starting players aren't playing for the sake of resting due to injury and Euro + Copa America playtime, these friendlies are mostly just for giving academy players and new signings playtime and to see how they would or could perform in the UCL, EPL, etc.

The very purpose of a “friendly” is to blood new players and apply/test new tactics within a casual setting, hence the result is not a concern as the score line was a product of the aforementioned!. The result for Columbus Crew would of meant a lot more, hence the reason they were considered as opposition in the first place, so stay calm and UTV

We'd rather win, but the Club and supporters don't take these matches seriously, its more about seeing how our new players fit into our system and how much the reserve players have progressed since last season. You'll see more of the regular 1st team players when they're all back in the other friendlies vs Dortmund, Leipzig and Athletico Madrid.

This make wonder I seen the Manchester united and city coming to New York well to America against that participate in the europa champions league, I known of the real Madrid, inter milan, Ac milan, Napoli, psg benfica, Manchester united and city and most of the world clubs in England and Europe, so fifa is these europa champion league participant will that increase the market for cancacaf champion clubs, the mls the Brazilian seria, and Mexico league, because I Don't see the balance in power by introducing Europe clubs and England clubs to America to play among them self in America, I think it a dumb strategy, I want to see cancacaf champion league clubs vs Europe champion league clubs now that could Gain attraction for more sponsorship deal and next advise of major league soccer, leion messi is a good marketing strategy, so where the next big signing for the league, the only way mls can be marketable more and televised more more Europe base players being pulled in at there prime age to make the league Gain more attraction and sell more players from the mls clubs to the euro market, fifa all I want is balance in power because we know that European champion league is more marketable I want to see cancacaf clubs getting that shine at the big stage, my idea don't shift, can they be a mini tournament of cancacaf clubs top 8 and European champion clubs top 8 and put them in a tournament like in preseason tournament and the winner of the that fifa football cup, that the best name I can come up with that ffc would be a great achievement, but what the achievement entails, fifa you can come up with that answer, I would say more sponsorship for the league and clubs
