here's the thing. there, generally, has to be someone in a group like this that puts in the time to learn the game. so they can pull the group forward in the game progression while still being entertaining goofballs. if everyone knows the game inside-out, it's boring as shit. if nobody knows shit, and week in and week out, they don't learn, it get's frustrating. now, it isn't so easy for the crew to fill that role. we all know why. they are more than friends and colleagues, they are *family* and Tony was one of them. for me it's like Metallica. i have loved Rob Trujillo for decades, one of the best bass players alive. Infectious Grooves rule! but he's not Cliff. i have loved Wak for ages, he rules! but he's not Thick. but Wak is a *great* fit, no denying it.

for those who don't know. "Puddles" is a Cimmerian Berserker, the best fighting thrall in the game. if you have a Berserker with a nice weapon and armor, and level 20 with nice perks, and you are specced into Authority, you just beat the game. there's 2 enemies in the whole game that can kill a well leveled Berserker, the 2 strongest bosses in the game. the Arena Champ, and the Wine Cellar boss (forget his name). the Arena Boss is *supposed* to be a thrall killer, she is programmed that way. the Wine Cellar boss fight is just tough, and it's not unusual to lose a thrall if you get unlucky. oh, Rockslide and the Nameless City giant snake boss can kill a Berserker, but only because they are bugged. they aren't supposed to.
