The loss of Chester's voice, his truth, his pain, his heart - has truly been a loss to his fans. But just as everyone who went before us, they are still with us, all around us, within us, and apart of us. His 'everything' remains in the ether, even right now. Thank you for this song, hearing his voice again.

Well and watching so many groups carry the torch he lit inside of them forward (in their own name and in his name) whether you want to cite Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens, or whomever, his legacy lives on in every facet of what made Chester himself, and what made Linkin Park themselves ❤️‍🩹 🙌 What people leave behind inside of us when their body fades away, and what they leave in the ether is immortal. Energy can’t be created or destroyed, and everything in this observable universe is a wavelength. “Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it isn’t there.” 🤝❤️‍🩹

What are we fighting for? I was supposed to protect you No matter what's to come Somehow forgot when they told me We hurt the ones we loved Can't put back what's been broken Can't change the moment We went too far We're pulling apart for no reason We're pulling a trigger in a useless war And if we come back and go into the black What are we fighting for? The industry murdered the whole second album from greta van fleet, they killed the first album from Robot Monster, they are killing new rock artists before the artists can even put out a damn album. Why don't you go to the Phillippines, go to a Kareoke bar like Journey did, and go pick out whoever you want. Where are you going to find a filipino who loves to sing and wants to make millions???

Some days its like he's still here. We miss you so much Chester. EDIT: Thank you for all the likes. I really meant what I said. I've been going through a tough time with my girlfriend recently, and this song really speaks to my emotions right now. Because like the song goes, I do question a lot, about what it is we're actually we're fighting for. And I wonder why it is the ones we love that hurt us, and we want to hurt back. Its fucked up. But this song helps to put my mind at ease so much. For some inexplicable reason, Linkin Park always seems to come around when I need them the most. Thank you guys so much for releasing this.

С любовью, из России❤ Eng: Rest in peace, Chester Bennington. Today, July 20, 2024, exactly 7 years have passed since your death. For 7 years now, your fans have been missing you and listening to Linkin Park songs. We will remember you here on earth. Your vocals are still one of the best among rock artists. All that time that you are not with us has generated a lot of your followers, fans (who still appear today), a lot of people were born, a lot of people grew up and so many people died, because so much time has passed, but it seems like it was recently. Soft clouds for you, Chester Bennington. With love, from Russia❤

I ended up seeing their last ever performance, it was meant to be the 2nd to last, but the last date got cancelled due to the Manchester bombings. The fact we saw him only a few weeks before he died made the news even more surreal, and after getting news like that you can’t help but look at things differently. I recalled some of the things he said in that last show, for instance he mentioned some earrings he was wearing to commemorate the victims of the bombings, and how he vowed to wear them until the day he died. The performance he gave that night, and the things he said, makes me think he knew that would be his last ever gig. 😢 so although I’m so glad to have seen a live LP performance, especially the last ever one, there is a part of me that feels guilty that so many of us were stood in front of someone that was in so much pain, and none of us realised. 😢

After this week's massive announcements, it's clear that this song marks the official end of the era of the main lineup of the band. A great, yet somber, note to close an incredible chapter in music history on. The amount of emotion in this song is unreal, and despite its more poppy sound than most of their other work, it encapsulates what made Linkin Park so great. Chester and Rob, thank you for nearly two decades of incredible music that shaped my life, and the lives of millions of others. Chester, I hope you're in a better place now, and Rob, I hope you're doing well with your family. Here's to Emily and Colin carrying on the legacy for a whole new generation of LP fans!

Chester's death was the first "celebrity" death that hit hard due to the connection that Chester had with his fans. In all fairness while I am truly convinced they care and still love him, I feel like it's the smartest move to rekindle interest and keep the band somewhat successful. Show something familiar and then eventually move on. In essence, while I'm sure love is a big part of it, it's also probably got to do with economic success, in the end. (Pun unintended)

Its been 5 years. I need you to either shut this shtt down or get a new singer. We are tired of the terrible shtt the industry is giving us.

It's so surreal that we are still hearing new music from Linkin Park after all this time. I remember first listening to Linkin Park. I think it was around 2003 when I was staying at my cousin's house on the weekend and he introduced music from Hybrid Theory to me. I instantly loved the music and went to buy the album on CD at a store to play in my walkman. I would listen to all the tracks while riding the bus to and from school every day. As soon as I heard about Meteora's release, I bought the cd for that as well. Eventually, I upgraded from the walkman to an MP3 player and would load all the songs on there and continued to listen almost daily. Linkin Park's music was my first real introduction to music and got me listening to other bands. Fast forward to August 2014, I was able to go to a Linkin Park concert for the first time, which was also my first ever concert. Their live performance was amazing. I wish I had gotten a closer seat but couldn't afford better at the time. Linkin Park will forever be my favorite band. Their music got me through so much in my childhood and my 20's. The day I read of Chester's passing, I felt shocked. I saw a headline and immediately though "no this has to be some fake articles from some site like "The Onion". But then more and more news outlets were posting articles about his passing... and I was floored. That entire day, I felt empty. I felt as if I had lost a family member or close friend that day. After his passing, I couldn't listen to Linkin Park's music without instantly tearing up. I still do sometimes but I'm able to listen to everything now without as much trouble. Anyway, if you've read this far into this random comment from this nobody on Linkin Park's video, I appreciate it lol. I hope everyone is having a great day / night wherever you are and just know that you matter and you are loved.

Love Linkin Park. I have Hybrid Theory, Meteora, and Minutes to Midnight Also their live dvd/cd combo Revolution and another older album I forgot the name of, too lazy to check right now. But it’s the one with the robot looking guy on the Hybrid Theory album cover, it’s like a techno remix of both hybrid & meteora songs I think. I have the collaboration with Jay-Z album as well. 🤘

Bro, I just want to say that a lot of what you shared here is almost exactly my experience. The only difference is the beginning part of when and how you learned of LP and when you got a chance to see them in concert for the first time, but everything else was crazy similar. I still remember how learning of his passing rocked me to my core. Just as you described, it almost felt like losing a close family member. Crazy. It just goes to show how many people the band touched. Thanks for sharing. Reading your comment brought a smile to my face.
