As Turkish Squad players, we welcome the addition of the fashionable Turkish Armed Forces, hopefully a few bugs will be fixed. As an example, there is not only pkp pecheng in TAF, we have M60, FnN MINIMI and SAR MT 762 machine guns of our own production(SAR MT 762). I hope at least one is added to the mod

Sure is, but having infinite ammo every single time you respawn makes it that players have to coordinate less. Personally I think it is a nice change of pace to have different metas for different mods, makes it way easier to not get burned out

To be completely honest, I kinda doubt that the mod creator has any kind of vision of what the meta for the mod should be. They mostly cater to the power fantasy of players who want to play special forces beating bad terrorists and remove some of the features from vanilla Squad they deem inconvenient. The issue is that many of those "inconvenient" features (like the persistent ammo for example) keep the gameplay balance in check. When playing Iraqi regulars vs ISIS it can be a lot of fun. When it's American special forces vs ISIS, it's just one side having a rollercoaster ride while the other waits out the frustration of being severely disadvantaged against the other time by the game itself.

Honestly the limited ammo change in Squad is one of the changes I dislike the most. At least give us our bandages back :P It just makes things much more difficult for no reason. But yea, the rally needs to be limited spawns.

Sound design in this game is phenomenal. Any other game pales in comparison in sound reproduction of war. Maybe Arma 3 is closest, or sounds in Insurgency Sandstorm, but nowhere as good and accurate.

I just can’t imagine unlimited rallies being a thing again. Veteran players who know how to play objectives to win games will be able to abuse this to close games out so easily if they want to just by sneaking a squad spawn behind the enemy and then jumping an open flank with 9 men, wipe the enemy HAB out and clear the point. I just don’t get it

It is worth it. They removed a lot of scopes and made the soldiers slower. They removed jumping over high walls and there is almost no parkour in the game. I noticed the ammo thing and could not see anything "spammy". It seems a stable change.

The extremely slow “realistic” reloads ruin the game for me. I get that they want to portray conventional forces but I’m 17 with no professional training and have never picked up an actual rifle but I can reload double the speed of the game with my replica gun. It’s really annoying and has no realistic backing to it.

Feel pretty unbalanced, I player with a squad of friend and Isis/insurgents where really in a disadvantages for the 3 games a played that side , the others side have way better gun/ scope and vehicle, it's a game and it should be balanced for both team Ps: I played both side and when my friends and me where in the more "tactical" side (us sf etc) we didn't even had difficulty to win
