"Baby Reindeer" wasn't an easy watch, but it was certainly an important one. Kudos to Richard Gadd for not only reliving his harrowing stalking experience, but reenacting his brutal sexual assault. I hope that there were therapists on that set, and that he didn't experience any PTSD symptoms. Jessica Gunning was also extremely chilling as Martha.

Joining the Interview with the Vampire brigade. Impeccably acted, and extraordinarily written. Everyone behind it seems to have a unified vision of the story they want to tell, and have thought very deeply on what happens when someone becomes immortal, and when they’re made immortal involuntarily. What happens if you have decades to hold a grudge, but there’s only a handful of people in the world who you can talk to? It’s also a great look at the nature of memory, and the stories people tell to make sense of the insensible. The show also makes you hate the Game of Thrones showrunners for having Jacob Anderson and *wasting* him.

As they dig deeper, they uncover shocking clues.

there's already a few comments about it, but interview with the vampire is SO FUCKING GOOD, and another masterclass on enhancing the source material in a crazy way, specifically the protagonist louis who, in addition to being pretty problematic in the book, is also SO boring. show louis tho??? that guy is fucking awesome, both because of the writing and jacob anderson's insane performance. the show is surprisingly funny (usually by being self aware with it's soap opera level interpersonal dynamics), it's emotional, it looks gorgeous, and every single actor is fucking on top of it every single second (like i want to single one out, but i just can't because they're all that good). anyway it's amazing thank you for coming to my ted talk

Probably the 100th person to mention this by now, but STRONGLY recommend *interview with the vampire*! It's SO good; it's such a beautifully crafted story with insane acting and world building. If you're like me and haven't read the books, it's so thrilling to experience the twists and heartbreaks. It's a show that takes its audience seriously and forces you to pay attention to details without spoon feeding information just like Dark and Arcane. Despite being about vampires on the surface, it's really a show about relationships and how they change over time and how deeply toxic they can be. The show also is a masterclass on showing the effects of an unreliable narrator right from the outset.

It saddens me a bit that people are not subscribing to Apple TV+, because its whole catalog is amazingly good. There are a few movies and shows that are just good, but most of them are great. I LOVE Agatha All Along. Finally, the MCU has put out a good product again. It has many twists and turns, great musical numbers, emotional moments, and Kathrine Hanh is stunning as Agatha. The supporting cast is also amazing. I didn’t think a show about Agatha Harkness would be good, but I was so glad to be proven wrong and I can’t wait to see her and Teen again

interview with the vampire and why women kill are immaculate TV shows and dare i say some of the best yet underrated shows of all time, period. i could write essays about them and although why women kill got cancelled and hasn't had a season this year or in a few years, it still holds up and i could and HAVE rewatched both many, many times- in fact the other tab i have open is me rewatching iwtv for the 4th time💀they deserve(d) all the awards and praise in the world and i will never shut up about either of them !! i recommend both to anyone and everyone out there, don't miss out on absolute masterpieces of television. it would literally make my life if you did a review/talked about either or both of these shows at some point, seriously just go watch them and you'll get what i mean when i say masterpiece :) edit: thank GOD i'm not alone in raving about interview with the vampire in the comments !! i'm so glad that EVERYONE, from the creators and writers behind the show to the actors who appear on it and fans like myself alike, are *so* passionate about the show to be spreading the word and trying to convince literally everyone they know to watch it. i have truly found my people in these comments lol‼

Watch INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE!!! The s2 was even better than the first! And I've read the books and watched the movies ( which I LOVED) and this is the FIRST time I saw a show adapt and deviate from the source material but actually be on par with it and even at times, dare I say, improve upon it. AND the ACTING!!!! The dude playing Lestat will blow you away!!!! That show can easily displace some of the entries on this list.

Absolutely agreed w/the list HOWEVER my silly ass could not have added Dead Boy Detectives there, it’s just such a nice y/a series (once again cancelled by n*tflix after season one thankyouverymuch) . Couldn’t stop thinking about it for the whole year!!!

I was one of those people that watched My Lady Jane. I blame Amazon not pushing this as they should've. The *not so serious* period fans should've loved it, it was so fun to watch and the costumes were amazing. I'm sad Amazon didn't give it a chance for season 2 because it would've been beautiful.

Enough people have mentioned Interview With the Vampire so I won’t harp on about it. Highly recommend though, I was so worried it wouldn’t be good because of how far it diverges from the source material but it’s probably one of my favourite shows on TV at the moment. I’m surprised Kaos didn’t at least make your honorable mentions though. Such a great show with so much potential and of course, Netflix had to cancel it. I’m still mad about it.

I recommend the show "Say nothing" on Disney+/Hulu. It's a story about two sisters who live in Belfast during the 1970s - 1990s and get involved in the ongoing conflict at the time. It's based on a book with a similar name, which in turn is based on true events? (Question mark because the people the characters are based on claim that certain things didn't happen or at the very least deny involvement). It's a nine episode series and one of the standout hits for me personally!

The Pantheon release was so stressful. It was confirmed to have 2 seasons right away, so I went in expecting it not to get cancelled and be left incomplete. Then, shortly after season 1, it was taken off all streaming services and there were rumors of it being written as a tax write-off. So we'd never see season 2, and the story would be left incomplete. But then like a year later, season 2 just drops out of the blue.

Where did it drop I can't find season 2 anywhere
@dowatyoudo7 күн бұрын
@SethCrimson the 2nd season is actually on KZbin, but it's kind of butchered. There's a lot of licensed music in it and the audio gets overrided with free use stuff and kind of messes up the production. The only real way to watch it as intended is to start looking at less than legal methods. Here's hoping Netflix gets the rights to season 2, but I have a feeling amazon won't want to give it up to them since they own the rights for season 2.

As somebody who got into Shrinking because of your recommends list last year, I got a big smile on my face when the second season showed up on this list. Been watching it weekly with my mom and having a great time, especially with the humor and emotional bits. Also, big fan of the last featuring a surprisingly large amount of animation hits this year. Didn't expect Dandadan to make it in lol.
