Cars two was so shocking to me because as a kid my parents told me it was trash and I didn’t need to see it. I watched it a couple years ago at age 19, and I was flabbergasted. Cars were murdered in a James Bond type storyline, with a popemobile at some point, in a children’s franchise, cars 1 and 3 being completely normal. Pitch perfect 3 also shocked me, with its action themes. When I saw this comparison I now see the sisterhood, how tow mater and fat Amy are forever joined as sisters in their action themes in completely normal franchises. Truly beautiful.
