They are the best parents. The love for Emma is so amazing. Ross is the best Dad! Rachel is so lucky to have a parenting partner that is so involved and loving. There is such joy from all of them. I’m glad by the end that Emma will have both parents together and probably other siblings. I know this is a TV show and that’s the sad part. I wish it was real. They are so adorable together. Jennifer and David seem like the type of people that would be together until the end. Neither of them seems all caught up in their egos. I know Brad was cute, but pretty doesn’t always do the hard work of a relationship and building a family. I’d take Ross/David any day. And Ross is adorable. In my opinion he’s a better actor than Pitt. So much more versatility and range.

my only complaint with the whole ross and rachel thing is that all the sexual tension was suddenly gone from season 4 onward. we caught a glimpse of it again in season 8 but never was it as good as the first 3 seasons. Still my favourite tv couple though.

Shy D Agree. The chemistry between David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston was so intense that both actors/actress might have to compromise for their personal lives. Rumor said David Schwimmer lost two serious relationships during the show, especially a fully committed one at early seasons.This may also explain Jennifer’s fragility to part her FRIENDS, especially David at the end of season 10 when her marriage came to finale.

I’ve always thought they had sexual tension in the series they were just supposed to act like Ross and Rachel were maturing. But in my opinion it was always there. David stated in an interview that he lost a relationship do to the fact that he put his work before his relationship according to what I read.

I can point out 100 storylines about every other character that made him/her acting immature because this is a sitcom, this was what comedy required. But when we look away from pure comedy, it's a different matter. Ross only went crazy with Rachel around because she acted toxic, immature, and crazy, first breaking up with him, then chasing him, sabotaging his relationships, acting like bipolar high school girl - Rachel was, in fact, immature. And btw, they were in this type of love: on and off 24/7. really shut up, we have had enough of these nonsense comments with bias and negativity.

I can write an endless list of storylines with Joey, Chandler, Rachel, Monica, and Phoebe acting immature, right now. It was a SITCOM, genius, and all these exaggerated storylines were here for pure laughs only not for you to analyze like it was serious drama or science. Ross actually never acted immature unless he came in contact with Rachel and her craziness and toxicity. Rewatch what she did and how she acted toward Bonnie, Julie, Emily - and before Emily even started dating Ross, rewatch how selfish and lazy she was around the apartment compared to Monica, etc. So STFFU. You are brainless and you have no idea what you talking about. How about you go and watch L&O Special victims unit or smth like this, not sitcoms, so you can whine and yap about real problems, but don't watch sitcoms if you don't understand what a sitcom is.

Emma&Ben for sure met but off-screen. A lot of things 'happen' on TV shows off-screen. People who whine about not seeing Emma and Ben together and more often, fail to understand that acting with kids on set is very hard and every tv show tries to limit the time of children on the screen, if they are needed. Look up many interviews with many A-listers actors, or any actor really, and see they all repeat one universal truth about acting: acting alongside children and animals is the worst. Why? Not because children or animals are not cute or great, on the contrary - they are cute, and they are great, but they are also unpredictable, impossible to control, 'expensive' in terms of contracts vs their contribution to the project, and they are quickly tired. Children on set, especially as little as the girl who played Emma was, require 24/7 care by caretakers, which of course cost money and additional time, and additional shooting time on tv and in movies, again - cost money, and all kids, even older ones like Ben in later seasons, are still unpredictable, they are tired very quickly, and one scene, even on a sitcom, can take the whole day to shoot or even more than one day, sometimes. Secondly, it is very possible that in the later seasons, the actor who played older Ben wasn't available anymore or wasn't available at the particular time when the girl who played Emma was available. And the last one: it wasn't a show focused on children, but on young adults and Ben was from the get-go a background character, just as Carol was. Recurring, but with appearances more in line with a guest-star bill. He was on the show as a newborn in maybe 2 episodes, as a very little 2-3-year-old baby maybe 3 times in seasons 2-3, one time later in seasons 4-5, and then 3 times as a 7-8-year-old in seasons 7 and 8. So throughout 10 years, he was on screen, a total of 10 or maybe 12 times. And this was by design. So Ben was never a regular on this show in the first place, he was in fact very rarely on screen. So people who whine he suddenly 'disappeared' are really acting dumb. Tv shows or movies with little children as main characters are very rare, and if it is, indeed the case, these children are often children of the insiders, so people who work in the acting business for a long time and know how to do this, or children who have been acting since they were practically newborns, often in commercials, so they have an experience themselves and they parents know what they are doing. And Friends creators trusted their fans that they will understand this, cause this is like a basic knowledge every normal audience with a brain should have in this day and age.
