Wow just learned of Mark's work recently and was looking to find out if he would be here anytime soon. I'm SO glad I found this in time. Going to see this exhibit this week.

Hello, I am Park, a 21-year-old Korean. I dropped out of school because of bullying. My mother was fighting a disease, and my father was losing sight in one eye. That's how I was sent to a treatment facility. Then I got psychotherapy with Mark Bradford's paintings. The meanings contained in his paintings healed my imperfect mind. That's when I first had a dream. I wanted to be an influential painter like Mark Bradford. I wanted to learn about art, so I decided to meet him. So I came out of the treatment facility and worked alone for 15 hours for 6 months, and now I have the money to go to the United States. I want to meet him, but I don't have any information about him, so I contacted Hauser&with. I'm desperate. I would appreciate it if you could convey my feelings to him once.

Ah Americans ! They have to look back to the tortured past because bad as it was , it is less toxic than the present and the the future they are creating is so unimaginably hellish and frightening one just can’t go there.
