Those hair jokes would not work in 2018. Monica getting braids would be slammed as cultural appropriation. Edit: I didn't think this would blow up that much. Depending on how frizzy my hair is sometimes it literally wont all go back into a ponytail esspecially with bangs and layers but like 2 french braids might have worked-and wetting my hair wont work bc itll frizz up and ill have 5 trillion flyaways once it drys but like i said 2 french braids might have worked it would have been a hassle to wrangle though.

@@Cupidador Yeah I grew up with curly hair during this time in the 90's and curly hair was DEFINITELY a don't. Everyone's hair was straightened or pulled back otherwise you weren't cool. I didn't start wearing it curly often until high school in 2000. If you watch the show the ladies rarely wore any wave in their hair. I've seen it a few times on the show especially the first season but afterwards not so much.
