Wanted to do this one for a while - presenting to you a Friends on the Other Side cover! Who doesn’t love Princess and the Frog 🐸
This one took me AGES to record - I really couldn’t tell you why, I was just being such a perfectionist and was enjoying myself so the time totalled in my recording nook may be one for the record books.
This cover is HEAVILY inspired by the glorious Annapantsu so please do check out her cover here - • Friends On The Other S... I did try my best to add my own little spin to this song though so I’ve thrown a few fun changes in there from the original.

I can see Tiana being a villain in two ways. One: The Prince decides to become human before the bell and marries Tiana’s friend. OR Two: The Prince sacrifices himself to save Tiana so she becomes human again but when Tiana tries to use the Shadow Man’s power to bring him back to life, it fails which begins her descent into the world of witchcraft. However the third idea is that Tiana, wanting to achieve her dream of the restaurant, decides to give into the deal the Shadow Man gave her and gives him the Talisman.

Isabella would have made an excellent villain. Envious and bitter towards her family, or perhaps simply ambitious and craving totalitarian leadership over the village. Luisa is her gentle-hearted but loyal sidekick, Dolores is the one she considers a rival (hence her actually trying to marry Mariano as a way to crush her oldest cousin's spirit), and Mirabel is the one she underestimates. Abuela, the parents, and the villagers are manipulated by her, but Bruno goes into hiding because he sees her plans for domination and Mirabel's role in stopping her.
