I remember watching the first episode... I don't like horror, but this takes it to another level. I rate this series 10/10. Remains cutesy while mentally spooking you. Oh my god, i REMEMBER the shock on my face when the reveal came. My heart was pounding so fast during this series, and I needed more. And I'm super happy with the ending too.

i know this is dumb but the end of the anime and the reveal made me pour some tears....and the end of the manga literally made me try my hardest to hold myself not to cry at least. not loud for like an hour?. if you dint read the manga yet go give it a go i can even get u a link to the site where i read it. if you want it ofc.

Shiki starts like a romantic anime but it takes turn after end of one of the first episodes and it just gets worse and worse to the point where nobody wins at the end Re zero starts like harem/romantic isekai but about end of episode 1 something interesting happens Higurashi when they cry just takes a 180 degree turn in end of episode 1
