The WIld Atlantic Wains in association with Brí Carr Music release their new single, '#Hashtag Friends' to celebrate diversity, unison, friendship and tolerance among children. Huge thanks to the children of Scoil Mhuire NS, Ramelton, Drumoghill NS and Blue Ribbon Arts whose input into the content of the song message and the video is much appreciated and acknowledged. Finding and keeping real friends in the age of technology can be difficult, but as the song says, 'Keep it real, no pretence.. Hashtag Friends!', therefore sharing the idea among children that it is truly okay to be yourself, to enjoy your hobbies, your friends and your passions, to express yourself as you want to, not how others expect you to. Well done to all the team involved in this project, especially Ms Maria O Donnell and Ms Noreen Graham from the participating schools, Ms Eimear Kavanagh from Blue Ribbon, The Donegal Education Centre, Mary Alice's in Churchill, Clive Alcorn of Tropical World, Letterkenny, all local press and Donegal County Council…..but most especially of course Ethan and Caela, and all the WIld Atlantic Wains.
