sona11111111 I feel the same way man; the hype for the show and fandom has certainly dimmed down massively ever since 2015. I’ve been a brony since late 2011 and i gotta say.... it really has been one long crazy ride. And as the same as you and many others apart of this fandom, life for me is progressing. But if there is one thing for damn sure I will never forget the impact the show and the fandom had on my childhood. All the songs, videos and more that I watched/listened to made by this fandom give me hardcore nostalgia when I watch/listen to them. Idk man.... mlp gen 4 is just one of those indelible childhood gems I will never forget for years to come. But I’m not a serious/stereotypical brony though; I simply watched and kept up with the show, watched fandom videos/songs, and overall just been apart of the fandom for these past 7 years. Nothing special really; I’ve never had any type of mlp merchandise, never have went to a bronycon, and never been that stereotypical brony. I’m currently 16 at the time of making this comment and I gotta say.... time sure did fly. But if theres one thing ive realized is this; we shouldn’t be sad that it’s over but rather, be happy that it happened. Sure, the fandom is still alive, sorta, but the show? Man, the show has been kinda dead. I’m just hoping that season 9 will be decent (I really liked that holiday special they put out in October tho). And also to add, I can’t believe that this upcoming season is the last season of the show. I’m going to be sad when it ends :( I think we are all going to be. But hey! We can still all see what gen 5 has in store for us... I might watch the first season of it just to see if it’s as watchable as gen 4 is. Sorry for the paragraphs I wrote in this reply m8 lol. I just got into ig. I hope that at least some of the stuff I typed here can relate to you as well :)
