Great episode. Dr. Steph is the truth! My Father told me the same. Do not loan money IF you will NEED it back. If you can’t give it and see it as a gift, don't loan it because it's possible it won’t be paid back. What makes it bad is when they borrow money and then live their life splurging, like you don't see it, yet crying broke and acting like they forgot they owe you. A friendship killer is someone who betrays you, especially if they cross boundaries with your mate or children.

I think the older we get it's harder to make new friends because of our past friendships. Personally, moving to a new state and trying to start over with new friends is hard. I feel like the new kid at school saying, "You wanna be my friend?" I'm of course exaggerating but that is sometimes how you feel. At age 47 who wants to do that?
