The thing is with this game is that there's a lot of game breaking stuff. Playing on normal difficulty, you can end up beating every encounter turn 1 if you know what you're doing. I think it's fine to not have all the op stuff. But at the end of the day if it's more fun to have the OP stuff and you don't know what you're doing enough to make combat still fun, nothing wrong with it. The constant backseating is kind of annoying though. Also somehow I knew they'd get the instant death ending lol.
