I’m up to episode 5 and almost every single episode has had me in tears to some degree. This one is truly, truly special. It feels like Spice and Wolf meets Lord of the Rings. It’s calm and quiet, emotional and melancholy, bittersweet, serene, adventurous, funny, hopeful, and grand. I really don’t know how to describe it properly, it’s so many things, And what really brings it all together are the beautiful landscapes and ESPECIALLY the OST. The music itself make me what to cry, it is BEYOND beautiful. THIS is anime of the year. I know everyone wants to say JJK because of the animation, and don’t get me wrong, the animation is incredible, but this anime, this one, is just something truly special. When it’s all said and done, this one is going to be one of those once in a lifetime masterpieces that goes down in history like Attack On Titan. Madhouse, you have done an unbelievable job at bring this to life. If any of you haven’t watched it yet, I IMPLORE you to do so. It will bring tears to your eyes but not in necessarily a sad way.
