I love this series so far, it's been amazing. The music, the visuals, the story... amazing. Something that doesn't get a lot of focus are the creatures in this show. OMG, they are stunning! The Solar dragon is cool, but that beast they unseal, or the creature that makes Heisen tremble... it's beautiful and terrifying at the same time. I love how much care and time is put into creating these creatures which might only have a few seconds of screen time. We're only half way through and I'm so excited to see this journey through to the end.

im gonna be honest i very much dislike the fantasy setting. not sure if its over used but i think its insane how this was still able to catch my eye. im in the middle of catching up and its so good

It's all about the writing and the themes brother. The setting is beautiful and nice but I didn't find it particularly noteworthy either

You probably don't dislike fantasy settings, just lazy MMORPG bollocks pretending to be fantasy. If frieren pulled out character stats and skill levels we'd probably all be less interested.

​@@melopuss375 exactly - fantasy isn't overused, in fact it's a dying genre; shallow isekai imitations of fantasy are overused and so when we see "fantasy setting" we're put off immediately. frieren is a breath of fresh air in comparison

oh i thought i responded to this when it was commented but i was wrong i'd say i am pretty motivated to make videos. i am a little busy but not enough for it to really affect how long it would otherwise take. im assuming you asked because i upload once every 3 months for some reason to which i'd say i just take a lot of time when it comes to making anime videos for some reason
