When I was growing up, it wasn't only that I wanted to have a horse, it was that I wanted to BE a horse! And if I could be a horse, I would be a Friesian horse in that green pasture by those still waters, with a soft wind blowing under that blue sky filled with puffy white clouds. What a life it must be for you and for them! Godspeed.....

When I was very young, I actually did spend a lot of my time pretending to be a horse ... galloping through the fields and whinnying! Wow, so long ago in a time gone by ... free summer days, wandering the country fields and forests where I grew up.

That was a wonderful chill time! I enjoyed watching them all relaxed and funny Klaske...nope I don't want to wake up but Mummy and the herd have left, I'll go and have an afternoon nibble with everyone! What a gorgeous afternoon there, yes it is very lovely the scenery and the black Friesians. Thank you. I'm looking forward to seeing how the foals look now that they are all weaned. Beautiful Sjirkje has her pretty new filly Matildha. It's all so exciting, more new foals to be born again. I just love your Friesian horses so much, absolutely stunning breed ❣️

Oh, I meant to tell you something a month or two ago. I think you will like knowing this information! Do you like movies? I first kept my horse in a cute little neighborhood of Burbank, California, that is called the Rancho Equestrian District. Warner Brothers Studios, Disney Studios and NBC Television are all located touching that neighborhood. Really, really, nicely kept neighborhood of small homes, where about one fourth of those homes have barns and horses in their back yards! Been that way since the early days of Hollywood. Anyway, to the point. I used to know a lady who lived in one of those cute little houses maybe a block from Disney. She kept 2 Friesians in her back yard. I lived a few blocks from her, and with my morning coffee, could look out the window and watch her walking them toward the public turnout areas. So, now you can imagine two of your Friesians living the good life, that close to Disney Studio.

Ah mosquitoes. Well acquainted with those here in Wisconsin in the US. Do you have to vaccinate for West Nile virus carried by those little pests over there also? Seeing the flys on the eyes of the horses I'm wanting to ask you if you saw the article about the flies don't seem to bother the horses that wear horse blankest colored in the zebra pattern. They have discovered this to be true...but are going to do further studies to make sure it IS a fact. The flies around their eyes is dangerous for their eyes!
