Both don't mind the idea of trimming down a little 😅 Shetlands always have a barrel belly but they're closer to a wine barrel than a beer one! No aspersions on their care from Yvonne of course - with them raising foals you would rather they be fat than thin (remembering poor Sally right after the giant that is Wunder came into the world, her extra feeds did very well for her)

Everyone loves a nice, quiet inside day during a storm! Saly looked beautiful after her spa day! Wunder truly is a handsome colt! Saly has taken wonderful care of him. He already has that glossy, jet black, stallion coat! He’s so healthy that no baby oil is needed to get that shine! He is Saly’s first colt. We all will enjoy seeing how he develops. It is now almost February 2024, so Wunder is most likely fully weaned. I wonder if Yvonne has taken him over to be with the colts his age at Stal G so he’ll have friends? The boys looked so cute in their Nintendo gear!

You can tell Saly enjoyed her little parade up the barn breezeway. She knows how pretty she is! As for Wunder, he is one of the most perfect looking Friesian colts I have seen. A lot of what goes into an approved stallion is movement (which remans to be see with Wunder), but if they judged on looks alone, he would be a shoe-in. He is very handsome! ❤💙

I think this is the first time I’m noticing what good shape Daisy and Glendy are in! You’ve mentioned many times that they were a bit overweight for Shetlands, but it looks like that isn’t a problem anymore. Daisy used to be nearly as wide as she was tall, even when she wasn’t in foal, but she looks fantastic now! I’m sure Wünder doesn’t mind the pink halter. Pink can be for boys, too (and historically, pink was originally considered a color for men)!

Sandra gift was amazing. I'm sure the boys were thrilled. Saly looked so nice after her brush and clip. Wunder is just as good looking. It's nice to see Uniek and Coralle bonding over a scratching session. It was nice to see the ponies. Peach is so sassy and Spidey is such a sweetheart.

Lovely to see foals playing in your meadow. Wunder with his shiny grown-up coat is a most handsome young man with quite a sense of humor. I'm in love with sweet little Yfke as well. Isn't it a lovely feeling, having all your horse's tucked up sane in your stable, spending private time with them. Such a peaceful time, filled with the sound of your friends eating hay, asking you for touches and love. Bless you all. ❤

Coralle might be the ‘boss’ but Queen Uniek is on the lookout for anything to be concerned about with her herd! She cares for her herd and is even there for the young ones! Perhaps she senses that Coralle is there for a purpose and she can graciously step aside for awhile! And we can surely see the connection between Uniek and Yvonne! I am curious about your history with Uniek. Were you at Stal G and have you known Uniek since birth? The scene of your horses in the pasture was so beautiful! So happy that your dream is becoming reality! And I forgot to mention that Wunder is a gorgeous boy! I hope he becomes a star stallion but he will be a wonderful horse for his life. He’s a good boy, although a bit of a mischief maker…very personable and friendly! With your training he will be awesome!
