WIN: After the death of my husband, I found myself isolated and in a dark place, not sure what was next for me. It took me many years to bounce back to myself. My 1st video to see was Uniek, losing Star, and then seeing her become lucky and blessed with Rising Star, in all the sadness they seemed to be meant for each other. The universe works in mysterious ways. I am beginning a homestead and starting a new chapter, and seeing the added luck and blessings of you purchasing Uniek, and then being given Risey, and also the treatments for her arthritis, and now a new foal on the way. I can't think of a better way to share in her magic than by hanging one of her shoes above my new front door, for luck and blessings, and to remind me always that no matter what dark we experience, the sun does shine again. Your videos helped my stress levels decrease, I relaxed and have watched all the videos, some twice. I love just watching you all and getting lost in the magic of the herd.

WIN! -- A few years ago I never imagined I would be working full-time at 74. My greatest gift has been finding your videos. Yvonne, the relationship you have with these horses is amazing. I have enjoyed getting to know these beautiful animals through your eyes. But Queen Uniek is so very special. She is a wonderful nurturing mother to Rising Star, a strong herd leader, and so much more. Watching Uniek alone in the arena was a joy to watch. Being able to display one of Uniek's shoes in my home would bring me the greatest pleasure.

WIN! I haven't a heart wrenching story, just my story of having to give up my beautiful horse. Today I am 72, love your videos and the entire wishing I still had my horse. Those days are gone but watching you with Uniek, your love for her, well, I understand even more now that I don't have a horse. Just a little piece of Uniek that I can treasure. I have been watching your videos for quite some time and fell in love with Uniek long ago. Her baby treasure, Rising Star, is so special. His does one describe perfection, that's Uniek and Risey. Yes Uniek has arthritis and so do I, so I understand her pain, relieved as much as possible by your efforts Yvonne, with giving her the best help possible with a wonderful farrier who custom designs her shoes. All I need to do is look closely into Uniek's eyes and my heart melts.

WIN! Good morning, Fresian family! I want to start by saying that this channel was a blessing in disguise for me. I have some fairly serious health issues and focus so often on the negative things that are happening in my life, but this channel has made some of those intrusive thoughts disappear. The day I found this channel my stepfather passed away suddenly from cancer, on top of all the health issues I was having- I felt like I couldn't even function. Just like Risey meeting Uniek, it was meant to happen. Me finding this channel- was meant to happen. I have decided now that I want to get into physical therapy to better my mental and physical health- and it is going to be with a local farm that helps people get stronger by riding horses. I have Queen Unieks bracelet, that my sweet son so graciously gave me for Christmas and I wear it EVERYDAY. Anytime I find myself getting into my head again, and getting sad- I look at the bracelet. It reminds me of how far I have come since finding your channel. Even thinking about having a horseshoe of Unieks makes my heart explode. There is just something about it. This channel has been such a light in my times of darkness, and I honestly feel that having her horseshoe would remind me of the love that flows out from her, and I need that in my life right now!

WIN!! I’m not sure where to start. I grew up with horses and watching this channel brings me back to my childhood. When my Father passed we put horse shoes with yellow roses on them out at his funeral. I too lost a son when he was 5 weeks old. I knew exactly how Uniek felt when they brought Rising Star to her. I would have given anything for someone to have put a baby in my arms. Watching her at that time also made me think this is just how God is. He is always there waiting to help and take care of us just like Uniek was there waiting to help Rising Star and take care of Him! Your channel and all the horses have been such a blessing to me. Watching brings laughter, peace, and hope. Love you all and all the horses! 💞💕💞💕 Ps. Forgot to mention that my 3 year old granddaughter likes to dress up as different characters. That was fun, I can’t get over how calm Uniek is through all of this. I’ve had just a very few that didn’t flinch, but she is amazing and while your son was around her. She is so sensitive to the little ones. But look how readily she loved Rising Star. That was so beautiful and every time I see it I cry. WIN! I started watching your channel after the Queen lost her baby and gained a step son Risey. My husband watches your videos with me as well and we thought that was so awesome. We look forward to your videos everyday. I have loved horses since I was a little girl but never had a horse of my own. I always drew horses when I was a little girl and when I was a young adult as well. I have a small collection of horse shoes that I have been collecting. My dad found a horse shoe on the road and gave that to me for my collection and well all my horseshoes that I have are nailed onto my old shed. I have maybe 10 or 15 horse shoes. I have pony sized shoes that someone made into a door knocker which I thought was so fascinating. I have been purchasing my horse shoes at antique shops and I have dug up an old one when I metal detected my Dad's yard. Thank you so much for sharing your videos. !!WIN!! I Discovered your videos when Uniek first met Risey. Seeing your beautiful horses, and the loving bond between Uniek and Risey helps me take my mind off my health problems and not being able to visit my horse Zena. I look for new videos from you daily, and am so happy when there is a new one especially if its of your 2, mummy and son. I have terminal lung disease and am virtually housebound so can only see my Zena when I am feeling well enough. When I was well Zena and I used to ride all over and even though she has very hard feet she had to be shod as there was a lot of road work involved, and it wore down her hooves quickly. Since we moved farms we didn't have to do any road work so Zena had her shoes taken off. I have kept 2 of Zena's shoes and my husband mounted them on a wooden plinth. The last 6 years my Zena has been retired, she is 25 and has had her own health problems for the last 3 years and has been on box rest on and off. She was so broken without her true little one but was filled with love for Risey at first sight. Such a beautiful story to see unfold. Having that memory of her motherly love for a strange lonely orphan needing as much help as she did with her loss would make me triple blessed being able to tell their story the rest of my life. That story would be told to my family and friends down the line for generations as her horseshoe (good luck) is held high and their story told often through the generations. WIN: I first started watching when Uniek had her baby Star. I was so heartbroken for her that the sweet baby didn't make it. I thought what is this Mother going to do now? Then Rising Star came to her. They needed each other. They fell in love with each other as Mother and child. I was thrilled!! I have always loved horses even though I have none of my own. I think they are one of the most beautiful animals God created. I would love Queen Uniek's horseshoe because she is a Queen. She took a baby who needed a Mom and loved him as her own. WIN!! I would be so honored to win one of Queen Unieks’s horseshoes! I found your videos when I was in bed recovering from a recent illness. It is amazing how people and animals come into our lives when we need them most. It was definitely that way for Uniek and Rising Star. I was so moved by Queen Uniek and Risings Stars story. It has been a joy to watch them from the first day they met to the painful days of weaning. Their bond is eternal and will live on in each of us who shared their journey. No one can truely understand what is destined for our lives. Why did Uniek loose Star? Why did Risey loose his dam? What forces brought them together? I do know that along the way no one gave up on either of these precious animals. In my own life there have been many times that I could have given up but, I didn’t. I chose to go on. Putting one foot in front of the other. There are always options. I continue to go on even now when I can no longer put one foot in front of the other and am confined to a wheelchair. I continue to look for the silver lining in life. I have been blessed with a full life, I have friends, family and animals to keep me company. When I was younger my family had a farm and I learned at a young age the joy and sorrow of having animals in your life. I learned to care for horses, to ride. I pleasured in seeing their joy as they played in the pasture. As they learned their pecking order in the herd. Watching Queen Uniek, Rising Star and your Freshian Horses has kept those memories alive for me. Seeing the joy of your boys and the other children as they work with the horses is so uplifting. Remembering the antics of my cousins and I as we worked on the farm brings a smile to my face and a song to my heart. I would love to win one of Queen Uniek’s horseshoes. WIN! I came across the video of Uniek and Risey meeting each other for the first time when a personal tragedy hit my life and I was in a very bad state. I haven't been a huge horse person before but immediately I felt that Uniek is my "spirit animal". Her story gave me hope again. Only a few weeks later I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and other issues myself. Seeing Uniek improve so much under your care gave me strength to deal with my own health issues. Yes, you have described my experience too. The first video I watched was the same, little Risey found a Mother and two broken hearts were healed in love at first sight. All summer I have been coming here , it makes me feel good and gives me hope. This family of people and horses,living together in love and respect is so wholesome and decent, so in tune with nature and the land. My birth mother showed Quarter Horses at Congress in Ohio every year. I grew up in a non-horse family driving them crazy with horses. I went to The University of Findlay in the 90s- and went to Congress myself! Such a small world, isn't it?

WIN - My boyfriend first started showing me the Friesian videos two years ago during my lunch when I started working from home. They bring me such joy. As I've watched the rare and loving bond between Yvonne and Uniek I was reminded of my Quarter Horse from many years ago. His name was Dutch Chocolate and my world revolved around him. No matter what happened in my day he was there to greet me with unconditional love and kindness. I see the same bond with Yvonne and Uniek. I've been touched how Yvonne does all she can to make Uniek's arthritis less painful. And how she comforted Uniek as best she could when she lost her baby Star. Most importantly, I watch all the interactions and I see people having fun with beautiful horses. It reminds me of all the happy times I had with Dutch. Thank you for that. It's given me a bright spot in my day during a dark two years. Keep doing what ypu do!

WIN! I have been so inspired by Uniek and Rising Star; earlier last year I was struggling to continue my Doctorate in Education dissertation that would study the benefits of therapeutic horsemanship for students in school with special needs. Then I saw Uniek and Rising Star be partnered up and their bond reminds me how much horses can help us heal. They truly helped me get back on track and working hard again toward finishing my dissertation. I would love to put up a board at the (edit: planned- I am working on buying property for it!) therapeutic center-with Uniek's shoe right in the middle- showing Uniek and Rising Star's story, to help inspire the young equestrians I will be blessed to work with in the very near future!

Reading your comment brought back fond memories of my job of 13 years. Worked as administrative support at a private university. Physical therapy students complete community service hours. One of the most popular activities is volunteering at a local ranch offering hippotherapy for special needs children. Riding horseback requires active balance. To accompany each special needs rider 2 PT students walk on each side of the horse while providing requisite rider support and instruction. It's learning experience for both rider and students. Horses already are experienced, intuitive and so gentle. I hope you're one of the horseshoe winners. Uniek and Rising Star's story of loss and love inspires individuals beyond our wildest imagination. For those not familiar with hippotherapy, from Google: "Hippotherapy is a form of physical, occupational and speech therapy in which a therapist uses the characteristic movements of a horse to provide carefully graded motor and sensory input." Sorry for the long post. Connecting with one another and creating opportunity to share knowledge has a ripple effect upon so many. WIN-I would be so honored to receive one of Uniek’s Horseshoes. I was able to purchase one of the bracelets, and I wear it almost every day. Unfortunately, I have a lot of illnesses that have now made it impossible for me to continue working and earning money. I live in Oklahoma in the United States of America and am going through the stressful process of trying to receive aid from our government since I am too young to retire. That means I do not automatically receive aid from the government in the form of a small wage. The good luck of the horseshoe and the fact that it came from such a beautiful, loving Friesian horse is more special thanWords could possibly say. WIN!!! The first time I watched the Friesians it was the video bringing Uniek & Rising Star together. It was so sweet seeing them get to know each other... to love each other,. I rode horses as a teen, in the hills above Malibu Beach in California. It was a wonderful time of great freedom. I am 66 & recovering from a stroke. I really enjoyed watching the greatLady Uniek get a “pedicure” . It looks like she would feel a good relief for her sore “toes”. Like a ballerina, she walks and dances on her toes,, so graceful and delicate.IDK if it is a correct way to describe a horse’s foot, but I see it as the hoof is her toes all formed into one “toenail”, and her fetlock is her heel..as compared to a human foot? . Your farrier is amazing.

WIN, this would be so exciting to have something from such a beautiful caring animal. Yesterday we lost my late sons dog Chloe to cancer, she like Uniek had a caring loving animal soul. Uniek adopted Risey when he needed a mother and Chloe adopted me when I needed care and loving attention, a shoulder to cry on even if it was a dog. Like Uniek a heart that not only belongs to her, but everything around them. Giving to others when they were hurting themselves. The shoe would be a constant reminder there is love and humanity in this world even if we have to get it from our 4 legged friends.

WIN! I have always loved horses but wasn’t able to ride a lot in my youth and not at all in adulthood. I had a summer of lessons one year and I bonded with a very tall black gelding named Pilot. He wasn’t a Friesian but watching Rein’s beautiful herd and seeing Yvonne’s amazing videos that are posted almost every single day bring me so much joy and revive my memories. I was so happy that Yvonne was able to purchase Uniek and then overjoyed when she revealed that Rising Star was hers also. A family herd! I'm not usually one for sharing such things, but I have had a very difficult time the past couple of years, not just with covid, but with three of my family members dying due to cancer. With all that going on, it's been more than beneficial for me to watch your videos, and these beautiful horses, to remind myself that it's not all doom and gloom. I was watching a show about horses on KZbin....when they put your channel up as a "suggestion".....so I went there....and watched the most recent video that you had just put up. And WOW....it was so fantastic !!....I had just witnessed a mare, who had just lost her foal, accept a foal..... that had just lost his mother. It was heart warming to see this huge gorgeous black mare take in a beautiful chestnut foal with absolutely no hesitation.....it brought a tear to my eye. Beautiful, kind, gentle Queen Uniek......it would be an honor to have one of her shoes. I am a "horseperson" of 50+ years....I 'rescued' my first horse when I was 14 years old.....way back in 1971 !! Win!! The day Rising Star was sold to you was the day my favorite kitty of 16 years died in my arms. As I watched that video, I thought I could not bear to witness another loss that day. Instead it became a moment of joy as I realized that Rising Star was staying with Queen Uniek and Yvonne. 4 year olds are just the *BEST* boys on earth! Mine (grandson) always wants to help the cleaning ladies, the gardeners, and our handyman. He wants to learn how to do everything! ( He wanted a mop and a broom for his birthday) My little guy says he wants 200 jobs when he grows up. But most of all he wants to explore the Titanic. I think he knows as much about the Titanic as Robert Ballard & James Cameron combined. Aren't children amazing? Little Owee (Owen) loves the story of Queen Uniek and Rising Star. WIN. I came across your videos one day on KZbin and became fascinated with them..I don't know much about horses...I grew up on a farm, and we didn't have horses, but I found your videos to be fun and very informative...I've learned a lot....as I watched your videos, the video that really touched my heart was, of course, when Uniek lost her baby but gained a son the next day with the arrival of Rising Star. I cannot tell you how many times I've watched that video...it touched my heart because with her adoption of Risey, it stirred my memories of the adoption of our boy, Ben. My husband and I tried for many years to have children, but could not..it just about broke me...especially knowing it was me with the issues..then, we were able to adopt our beautiful boy. He's 31 now, but the memories of that phone call telling us he was ours are as vivid as if it were yesterday. Every time I see how sad Uniek is in that video when she is searching for her baby and then how excited she is to see Risey coming to her in the barn, I get teary-eyed. She is me at that moment as a young woman being so sad without a baby and then, so happy waiting for her boy to arrive. My connection to her was cemented at that moment. Two "Moms" with boys that don't look anything like them, but are so loved. The only video of yours that I cannot bring myself to watch is the "weaning" video...I understand that horses are different than humans, and it's all very natural for them to be weaned...I did grow up on a farm...but, I just can't watch it. I think it would make me cry. I would be so proud and happy to have one of Uniek's horse shoes.....it would always remind me of how very, very lucky we both were to be given such wonderful gifts as our "boys." ❤🐎❤🐎
