I was going to say the same thing, look how happy Risey is prancing around with his tail flagged so high! It’s even cuter on a baby because their tail is so short and fluffy! Except for the white on his stomach, Risey is an exact duplicate of my second horse ( she was my heart horse! ) she was a big beautiful Thoroughbred 17.2 hands. We did jumping and dressage. We were the same age when we found each other, 12, but when she passed at 30 I couldn’t bring myself to get another horse. Ironically, I was disabled a year later and haven’t been able to ride since. That’s why your channel brings me so much joy! Especially since Risey came because he like a little twin to my girl. Thank You so much for sharing the horses, it means more than you can possibly imagine ❤️ 🐎❤️

Not only was Risey flagging, he was on his tiptoes prancing! He's a sporthorse; they tiptoe and prance when happy! One of my favorite "tiptoers" was the thorobred "American Pharaoh". He pranced his way to the Triple Crown!

Rising is gorgeous oh my god looks and acts so much like Secretariat I know different breed but he has the same personality Secretariat had he was a ham loved the camera always was performing.A little trivia I looked up Secretariat and he sired a colt who went on to win Baltimore Stakes and his name was Risen Star..Cool huh.

50 years ago God decided to make a horse and called him Secretariat. Rising Star entered the world as an orphan and is now world famous. Big Red is looking on from the other side with approval. He even shared his copper-red coat, intelligence and disposition.

I have read some comments from people who are curious as to Rising Star as he grades out for a KWPN foal. I am curious as well. I did some research here on KZbin for KWPN foal inspections. (Normally sending the foal to inspections is when the owner believes they are good enough for a high rating in the foal book.) From comparing those foals at inspection to Rising Star...He looks of very good conformation and movement. IMO a fine looking and moving KWPN foal/colt. PS. He also is better behaved than the ones I watched, which is a testament to Yvonne and her halter/lead training and excellent human trust imprint on Risy. 👍

Rising Star has had amazingly good lines and stature from a very young age and just gotten even better looking as he has grown. He certainly has learned some thing from his mother such as certain ways he holds his head up. And when he breaks into a gallop you can see what a fine event horse he will be. I love how as he started moving faster following Uniek he hold his tail up so proudly and happily. I know he has seen Uniek saddled up and being ridden or lead out of the stables, but not knowing what she does while she is gone and part of being happy is that he us now seeing that. It's going to be wonderful watching him grow and see what he grows into. It's going to be such a great picture one day to see him and Uniek being ridden side by side.

This is such a special video Risy is quite the showman he knows how to captivate his audience I’m gonna be honest I started to tear up watching him dance around the meadow after Uniek he’s so curious with such a gentle bright personality just as his name says I’m so happy he was given a 2nd chance with the Queen they helped each other heal theirs is a beautiful love story we can all learn from. I love the way Risy runs; he seems to run on his toes! What a handsome guy he is...when he started running around, he looked so surprised! Uniek is as elegant ever with Yvonne in her smooth walk & trot. It looks like her arthritis treatments are effective. This is the first time we’ve seen Risey show his quickness & speed at full gallop when starting from standing! He’s going to grow into an awesome dressage horse! He has a lot of strength even as a colt. His adult coat color is stunning! We can really see the differences in the gaits of the two breeds in this video. Both are beauties!

LOL, Michelle, I totally agree. At the beginning of the meadow run, Rising Star was indeed the "bored child." But as things progressed, his flagged tail, beautiful floating trott and calls to the other horses truly impressed me. And, he has great speed in the gallop. O, such a beautiful animal! I'm just so thankful an animal of his caliber has such a knowledgeable owner. I can hardly wait for the final Rising Star to immerge.

His owner sold him to Yvonne so that he never has to leave their family - Uniek - yes so he can become the Stallion he's supposed to be and his momma doesn't beat his butt when he gets to rough with her - lol - but seriously - the colts curb each other and are taught how to act by equally strong males - no mares are harmed in the schooling process!!

@@MT-if1jr Six months before where Risey was almost a yearling, there was videos titled *"New dog!! What name do you like the most? | Bury things"* or *"Rising Star⭐and his friends can finally go to the meadow! The fillies don't listen"* where Rising Star has a much longer tail and is still able to flag it just as high even when he is galloping very fast. KWPN have Arabian genes, therefore they can lift their tail very high. Although, honestly that is not really a breed exclusive feature (Arabians are only the most known to flag their tails that high but that does not mean they are the only one who can), it's more like the way a horse carries itself. You can tell by his behaviour that Rising Star is extremely confident.

What is truly exciting here is the gift that humans and other creatures give to each other: life. The bony little guy who was instantly accepted by Unieq as an orphan is now a grown up, tail-flagging-would-be-stallion showing off his potential. It is an amazing documentary. So much to learn!

Risey. You bring so much joy to my life! You have no idea. I ordered a bracelet that has some hair from your foster mom- Uniek, and I also got the keychain (It reminds me of you!). I cant wait to have a piece of the fresian family with me, and I love watching you grow up. I watch the video over and over where you meet your Foster Mom. This has been a hard time for me the last few months as I struggle with mental health, but watching you and your foster mom, and your wonderful caretaker Yvonne has been amazing. I loved watching Risey grow up to become a strong, healthy well-rounded foal. Watching his gate, I wonder if his gate would've been different or the same if his birth mother hadn't collicked shortly after giving birth to raise him. He looks like he's developed a touch of the Friesian gate having been raised by our Queen Uniek. I soooooo look forward to watching his further growth and maturation into an event horse for dressage or jumping? Personally, I prefer dressage. Yvonne thank you for letting us into your world to allow us to watch Uniek raise such a wonderful little boy and here is to her new foal to be!

What a great idea! Rising Star's bond with his 2 moms ensured he wouldn't stray too far and they got some fun quality time in before Risey "graduated" to his own stal with the boys. He had so much fun running and looked gorgeous while doing it. Saw his skips amd prances of joy and that dressage pedigree shone through. Unique of course was her stately self and held her queen status high while riding.

I'm so happy that Risey and Unique are back together. I knew that they would suffer when they get seperated at that time. It's like with human children, some want their freedom earlier some later. So are horses. I think it's not in their best interests to seperate the foals all at the same time. Some need more time with their moms. People need to understand that even animals have diffrent feelings and grow up on their own term. I wish we humans would respect that more and not do everything by scedule. Every living being is an individual and we should respect that. Especially with Risey, he has lost his first mom, and i think he needs more time to develope himself. He is such a mama's boy. He still drinks her milk to calm himself. These foals are still children. Would we seperate a human mother from her 10 year old child? No, that would be cruel. In the wild the weaning begins with 1 to 1,5 years. When they are in their late teens. Nature knows what's best for them and it goes total natural without pain for mother and foal.

What a fun video! It was good to see Uniek enjoying a trot through the meadow with Yvonne and Rising Star with his tail up racing around behind them having a great time. RS is becoming a beautiful horse with a very pleasing conformation. He moves so smoothly that it doesn't take much imagination to envision him performing flawlessly under saddle in the ring. I'm not sure what Yvonne has planned for him but I would love to see him in hunter competitions. Dressage is great but you really get to see a horse's strength, agility and intelligence when they are jumping. It's just so thrilling! But, whatever his path in life I wish him a long, happy and healthy life.

Rosey has springs in those ankles, light touch down and then float to next step. The Friesian foal herd often walks in step with their memes. Rosey is unique in that he floats along beside his mem out of sync but stops when she does. Today he exercised the freedom Unique has always allowed/given him to be her son and himself. What a generous heart she has.. both benefitting from this relationship where hearts & minds meet needs and circumstances.

As I watched this beautiful display of love between the three of you, I couldn’t help but also marvel at the sweet love that has blossomed & grown between Uniek and Risey after they were initially brought together months ago to fill a tragic void they each had experienced. That day, when they were introduced to one another for the first time, we witnessed an amazing instant bond between them that grew into the love shared between mother and son. . It is a memory I will always remember (and often re-visit!) That was the day I was first introduced to the “Fresian Horses” chronicles that you, Yvonne, and your Stal G family have so lovingly created to show us “your” world interacting & caring for these glorious and elegant horses. As Uniek and Risey pranced around the meadow today I couldn’t help but feel this was their “last dance” together as they leave behind “what was,” and move on towards “what will be.” Despite Risey remaining at Stal G (for which we all are so grateful), their shared intimacy will never be quite the same again. These life changes can be both difficult & sad to experience but after all, life does go on. As I anticipate the many exciting and wonderful adventures ahead for each of you, I want to express how grateful I am for bringing us along for the ride! ❤️❤️❤️

Initial viewing of this video I strongly felt how special this time was for Yvonne, Uniek, and Rising Star. The future seemed bright and infinite. Today, May 9, 2024, the reality of life without Queen Uniek, Risey with Wobbler Syndrome, and Yvonne continuing physical pain following a riding accident remind me of these sweet enduring moments of innocence and joy. Loved watching RS do his version of the bunny hop out in the meadow. When his tail is flagged like that he looks more like he's hopping along rather than running. Whatever he was doing, he was having a lot of fun and pure joy to watch. She sure does love his Mem.

What a cool idea. Looked like everyone, 2 & 4 legged, had fun in the pasture. Risey's constantly flagged tail was so cute & he seemed so light footed at times his movement seemed effortless. Uniek was beautiful as always & even happier when she got pellets. Love the Queen of Hunger.

@@genevapriest6190 Sorry, Zoomies is a word we use here in USA for when our animals go running really fast. Like when a dog will all of a sudden start zooming around the house, wanting to play etc. When Risey will just be walking then all of a sudden, just gallop past Uniek, with his tail flagged, then turn n stop, then do it again. I hope this makes sense 🙂 I also watch Sheepishly Me, and Sandi has sheep. The lambs (baby sheep), will get the zoomies, and run and hop up and down their pen. I hope this helps for an added zoomie explaination. My personal thought is, the animal is just expressing sheer joy.

There's so much graceful strength in how Rising Star⭐ carries himself, his ancestors were definitely royalty just as he is. Even when he stands still, he looks so powerful. He had an audience of his own here, the Stal G horses were eyeing him and even the neighbor's horses (correct me if I'm wrong) at 6:17 stopped grazing to in his presence.
