It’s important to remember that a lot of filler was put into the anime to prevent it from catching up to the manga. This in turn created several plot holes. It’s nothing that ruins the story. Just small gripes that make you a bit unsure.

I'm glad you realized how Goku was strangely happy about dangerous people being strong, they can say all they want about being in his blood he didn't act like that before, not exactly, he was not thrilled about Raditz at all, nor Piccolo. In fact he was only thrilled when it was good strong people. There is a shift in his logic after a while and no matter how terrible is a person if they are strong Goku like them. That's a bit silly indeed and it simplified his character sadly.

The whole fandom loved the reveal (retcon) made in DBZ but it did change Goku and the franchise to a simpler path. He has feminine characteristics like the lipstick and the thinner facial structure that are entirely about making him appear more sinister. Also, no, Frieza does not have a chest. The torso armor is just designed to be bulky. Frieza even tends to be voiced by men. It's only the first two North American VAs that went with female voices, again to give a sinister air to the character. On a final note, I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with abusive pre-watch allegations. I hope that goes away and you can watch the episodes blind and in peace. :(

The moon projection never happened, it was filler. Like I know you get annoyed at people pointing out filler, but there is a reason why. The stuff with the Saiyans having a namekian guardian is also filler. So is 90% of the Gohan training arc. The reason people are pointing it out is because it gets contradicted by canon material later, and we knew you'd get confused about it.

but it's not a plot hole there. Goku didn't know it was destroyed by Piccolo in this continuity. And when Brief says it was in bad shape it's working as well in both versions. I'd say it even makes more sense in the anime continuity because it explained why the pod is in "bad shape" while in the manga you have to take it for granted.

Here's the thing about Goku, he loves his family and friends (yes even Chi chi). But Goku is obsessed with training and fighting like all sayians. Goku is also kind of an idiot when it comes to understanding other people.

Still the regular saiyan warriors never have any motivation to push themselves to break their limits, don't even have experienced fighters teach them new techniques or guide them in learning how to fight beyond punching and shooting out energy blasts. That's why they were fodder for freeza's army.

In the Japanese version, Goku has a high-pitched voice - that feature alone does not make him a female. Frieza's appearance that makes him look like he has make-up is a bit gothic-like in style as some gothic men have. That said, Frieza's case pertains more to androginy. I think a lot of us (especially us Ocean Dub OG's) probably got confused about Frieza's gender back in the day. He looks vaguely androgynous or femme (when you're trying to read an alien species by human standards) which is probably why the English studios made the casting choices they made. Mixing it up early on is understandable. Persisting even when the show is repeatedly saying otherwise is...concerning.

You spent several episodes thinking Gohan was gonna turn great ape without a tail. You definitely haven't seen this before. I get why people can be skeptical at times. It is literally the most popular anime on the planet and your predictions can sometimes be spot on. Tho just because it's popular doesn't mean everyone has seen it and there's just as many times when you're completely off, so there's no reason to doubt you. I think a big reason for that is because DB was so influential at lot of ideas and inspirations can be seen in other animes. It creates a strange situation where the common tropes are seen in reverse and you react to their sources already accustomed to them, making it easier to see through the story structure.

Considering Goku's feats by now, 20x gravity should be nothing. Goku was throwing a Car when he was very young, and you need greater than 20x the strength of a normal man to do it. But, the writers dont pay much attention to the physics at play.
