ya know.. ive loved fright snd have seen it dozens of times from the first time i saw it in 1994.. and just now listened to this song again.. and just now realized that i am in love with this song.. i wonder if it was a seperate song that was adapted to the movie.. or if it was specifically written for the movie.. cause this melody and solo have sooooo much emotion... seemingly far too much for it to be solely created for a movie only.. im a musician.. and im willing to bet that it was originally a stand alone piece.. and then was put into the movie later on.. at which point they added the last part with the ominous thrumming at the end to mold it more precisely to the movie..

I understand what it's like, being different. Only they won't make fun of you anymore or beat you up. I'll see to that. All you have to do is take my hand.

I saw this at a midnight premiere. There wasn't a person leaving the theater who wasn't trying to hum this. It's about damn time there's a nice clean version available.

I remember watching this movie in a double feature with A Nightmare on Elm Street with my dad and sister in Detroit when it first came out. Man, memories.

Great track, great film. If they put more 80s films on tv then maybe everyone would remember what good films were, before every actor had to be an unrealistic model
