"Fuck that. Let 'em chuck us off." Haha brilliant. It's kinda heartbreaking to see all those people with so few knowing the lyrics. Like Wish I was sober. I guess the album had only just dropped. But when you do see someone singing away it's so great. A really great set. What a fucking great version of Loneliness and the Scream. Of course they deserved more people there but still a pretty good crowd considering the weather etc. I wonder if it was a live highlight for them? Just a shame more people still aren't aware of who they are. One of the best bands of the 21st century, no doubt, if not the best. A genuine poet. RIP Scott.

The list of bands throughout history who never made a bad song is extremely short. The number of them that got recognized and rewarded is shorter still. I’m much too old to be a fan of their’s but trust me you won’t see many this good in your lives. It’s not a negative-be happy you found one.

Fucking distraught at the past few days turn of events. Consider myself extremely fortunate to have seen them many times, Scott solo and acoustic, and have a hand drawing by the big guy. Saw mastersystem just 2 weeks ago tonight at Glasgow art school and he was a bit more subdued than normal but still put on a great show. Was looking forward to seeing frightened rabbit again in a few weeks when they were putting on their own mini festival at SWG3 in Glasgow. The realisation that I'll never see or hear them live again hurts at the moment but can't have been anything compared to the hurt that beautiful soul must have been feeling. In his own words "hug your loved ones"

Are you, Nigel? I'm staring at your profile picture and all I see is a black hole. You might be alive, but I think you've fallen too far down in the abyss of self-hatred to ever come back again. If this is your lot in life, so be it - I admire your commitment to the cause. Some of us go on to be regarded as genius musicians fronting successful Scottish indie-rock bands, and some of us go on to leave pitiful comments on KZbin videos after their death. Is one more noble than the other? Who can really say? I guess if you look deep within Nidge, past the black hole that is your soul, you might realise that Scott lived a life much better than the one you're currently pursuing.

They were a 3 piece then singing the "greys" and I ordered it on line the next day..... they all came crowd side after and drank beers and watched BT with the rest of us.... after a few weeks of listening to the greys I knew FR were fucking brilliant...... seen them many times since in NYC, Manchester and so sad to hear Scotts passing...... I stood beside him back in 07 and he is over 6 foot.. a gentle genius .... BT play Camden in Dec 18.... I will be there and Scott in spirit..... when your heads roll off... someone else's will turn.... floating in the Forth.....

i wrote music and played and have a darkness in me. I stopped because it was painful to myself and to my loved one's, but also because i didnt want to influence the world in a negative way. but there is beauty, in both dark and light and the older i get, the better I am at being authentic through that limiting filter.
