You skipped over the part where 'these' missiles can only be fired with the assistance of US military personnel and satellite data. The Ukraine is inside Russia's security sphere, and its neutrality is key to the country's nuclear deterrence and ability to intercept incoming missiles. Like Georgia, they were never going to be allowed to join NATO, and this latest gift is just a way to goad Russia into using nuclear weapons (or some other form of engagement) to give the US and NATO a pretext for a full-scale invasion before Trump's inauguration. Personally, I hope he calls their bluff by dropping one in a non-critical area of the Ukraine (farmland) to show that he means business, and this isn't a game anymore.
