Frigidaire Dryer Fix✨👌 - 🔧⚙ (Door Open / Code E66) or Not Starting 🤷‍♂️

This video will show you how to fix a Frigidaire Dryer when you get a Door Open code or Code E66. Basically, the Thermal Fuse went bad and needs to be replaced.
I also Give you Different Tips on Heating Problems or other issues of why the Dryer wont Start....
Start with the Door Switch
then Check the Belt
Then check the Thermal Fuse
Last check the Control Board
for no Heat
check The High Limit Sensor on the Element
check the element itself - check it with a multimeter - Continuity 📶
check for burned or bad cables
last check the main control board

Hey! Great video. I have a Frigidaire FFSG5115PA0 with an E66 code. I replaced the door catch, door switch and thermal fuse. Still getting “Door Open” E66 code and dryer won’t run! It’s like a 10 yr old dryer, is it worth continuing to mess with it or make more sense to shop for a new one? Any other last suggestions? If I have to call a service tech and the cost involved it probably makes sense to get a new one. But maybe I’m missing something! Thanks!!

Hello, Jesus. Good video. when you measured the Outlet Thermal Limiter you replaced, was it a permanent "open" as measured with your meter? Or is it opening when in use prior to hitting 180F? I am fixing an Electrolux just like this one with E66 and the Outlet Thermal Limiter does not measure as open when out of the dryer. I am wondering if these limiters can partially fail. The functional problem I am experiencing is the temperature in dryer only gets to barely warm, not hot. The High Limit Thermostat does not measure as open, but maybe it is out of spec. thoughts?

Electrolux model EIMED60LT0 dryer E66 error code. Have replaced inlet and outlet thermal fuses, high temp limiter, heating element, and main control board. All have tested to be good including doir switch. Why am I still getting this same error and dryer will still not operate?

Are all thermal fuses the same or they are different. I’m saying the Part number..

They are different depending on the brand. Whirpool has a white fuse and Electrolux has a circular shape style.

Sorry for the delay. It varies between companies. Something like this i would charge around 150- 200 labor and parts. Depending on part. Part new with warranty.
