Am almost 77 and we had something similar when I was in high school. Except they used plain corn flakes. 1 cup Karl, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup peanut butter done just like you did. The only difference was that it was poured over 4 - 5 cups cereal and stirred. Then it was dropped out by large spoonfuls onto wax paper let them cool and then eat. My family still looks to them for a comfort food. I can just imagine how good yours would be. I will say, they are addicting. lol. Thanks so much for sharing .

I think you could make it in the microwave. Just combine all the peanut butter mixture ingredients together in a bowl and microwave until it boils, stirring every few minutes.
