I keep coming back to this video to try out commenters recipes/changes because they are wonderful. There are some really great suggestions in this comment thread. Very good audience ❤These jello salads and pudding “fluffs” (my son used to call them fluffs when he was little, & the moniker stuck) are truly versatile and there is a flavor for everyone. Years later and this video is still awesome

Never in my life have I found rocks in my beans - and even if there were rocks, they would sink to the bottom. Bean cooks need to stop repeating this myth.

Oh my goodness this was so heartbreaking to see. You threw away the best and most important part of the whole thing. THE FAT!! 😳 Then also you threw away all of your seasoning right along with the fat and if that didn't do enough damage, then you drained all of the good juices out of it. Oh noooo WHY??? 😭 You just demonstrated how to make dry and bland/flavorless pork roast.

LOL I love Brussel sprouts and I have eaten a bowl of them just steamed with a little butter on them and a small bowl of apple cider vinegar to dip them in for dinner but Now I have seen in the store a kit with bacon and maple sryup and brussel sprouts And the other day My sister gave me a stock with a bunch of brussel sprouts on it but here's the thing they were to the point of going bad So I cut off the ones that I could save and I trashed the others and I thought Maybe I'd try the maple sryup and bacon way of cooking them because I have all the stuff in my kitchen and use that as a side dish with finger steaks and maybe mashed potato's for the kiddo So I am here on KZbin looking up different ways of cooking brussel sprouts bacon and maple sryup and this is the second video I hve watched and I have learned but I am wondering How soft are the brussel sprouts cooked through If I fry them in a pan like that and I don't want to take away that brussel sprout flavor ?

Queso blanco literally just means white cheese you can make it out of any white cheese or any cheese really it's whatever your taste preferences. My abuela would use goat cheese or farmers cheese

Juicing is great, but I prefer blending it all in my ninja, instead that way it leaves the fiber in the smoothie. It’s so much better for you!

I have made my own recipe of cabbage rolls for decades . After blanching the cabbage I let them cool then put the leaves into plastic freezer bags and in the freezer over knight .This really tenderizes the cabbage .I use 3 to 1 ground beef to pork. 1 can spaghetti sauce add jasmine rice leave in fridge over night as well .Next day unthaw cabbage trim the veins . Fill cabbage I make about 30. Transfer unused leavs into a large roasting pan add 2 large cans of tomato juice . Salt pepper and very little italian spice Bake 350% for 2hrs or more until rolls are puffed up and fork tender . I also take extra cabbage and pulse a few times in processor and add to inside mixture . Remember don't use aluminum pots pans with tomato because Aluminum leaches into the food .

My sandwich is the 4 slits in the patty in a skillet with butter. I want the baloney a "little" burned. I dont toast the bread as I like mine greasy. I put mayo and mustard on it.

I love apple or peach pie using biscuit dough on the trail in those cast iron broilers, learned from watching my dad make them in the skillet on the stovetop, but use lard instead of olive oil because turns to pure TRANSFAT when exposed to high heat...that is terrible for you and the propellants are no better.
