Fritz Wunderlich sings "Leb' wohl, Mignon" from Thomas' "Mignon" Bavarian State Opera orchestra. To quote, "When Fritz Wunderlich was killed in a tragic accident on Sept. 17, 1966, The world of music lost an artist who had worked up to such a standard of greatness and perfection as can hardly be surpassed at the age of 36" The "Adieu, Mignon" is, of course, sung in German.

Sung in German by a voice of character it takes another performance, I heard it in France by a light tenor...was different.. thanks Claudia.
