On this date in 1977 {February 19th} a video of Queen performing "Tie Your Mother Down" was aired on the late Dick Clark's 'American Bandstand'... One month later on March 19th it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #49 and spent 6 weeks on the Top 100... It reached #37 in the U.K. Singles chart and #47 on Australian ARIA chart... Freddy Mercury, aka Farrokh Bulsara, passed away on November 24th, 1991 at age 45... R.I.P. Stop being edgy, plenty of good music exists today. You've either got your head in the sand or are purposefully being dense and cherrypicking bad mainstream music. " Freddy rides that masculine edge just right in This one " No he rode that "masculine edge" in many other songs...honestly, for 25 years i even thought he was a man.

@nitromeguy ""Somebody to Love" is the hit single of the album. It was Freddie Mercury's own favourite song." It comes from Wikipedia, but if you type on Google: Freddie Mercury's favourite song+ Somebody to love, you could find more websites about it,one of which shows an interview of Peter Freestone, the best friend of Freddie.

I don't think it really matters. They are still one of the most iconic bands everywhere, practically everyone's heard of them and they're well remembered for the music as well as Freddie's flamboyant stage presence. That's all that matters. (I think anyway xD) :)
