Hope you are safe and healthy 😊 To be honest the present scenario is that there are fewer opportunities for people who have only FRM certification.. if you have any other qualification along with FRM like MBA (finance) or CA etc then you have great opportunities as a risk manager! But in future definitely the demand for FRM is going to increase..

Hello Mam I finished my bcom in 2015 and after that I gave CA IPCC for 4-5 yrs but couldn't clear a single group and in between I have some health issues too(now resolved) and from 2019 end I started preparing for bank exams but not yet cleared...I am interested in Finance and Risk Management fieldI also don't have any job experience...so now I need a job as early as possible.. utkarsh sharma Hello Utkarsh! Hope you are safe and healthy 😊 If you want to make a career in stock market then you should definitely go for FRM. In FRM focus on Market risk area. But along with FRM also do some certification program which focuses only on stock market for example NSE's Certifications in Financial Markets (NCFM) Certified Equity Market Analyst (CEMA) Certificate in Research, Trading and Advisory (CRTA) etc.

Hope you are safe and healthy 😊 In my opinion experience as a Mortgage underwriter should be considered as a relevant work experience and so I strongly feel you should enquire about the same with GARP. And if in case they say it is not treated as relevant work experience then you should pursue FRM along with your current job and once you clear all the FRM exams you can talk to your current employer to shift you to risk department in that you will get a relevant work experience also and you won’t have to change your current company also.

Hope you are safe and healthy 😊 If you are interested in FRM syllabus you should definitely go ahead with this course.. there are other courses that cover market risk segment like CFA but I feel they are more time consuming as compared to FRM so you should definitely give FRM a try !
