I've been using this board for days now since Varus is rarely contested and Arcana took a backseat since preservers are highly in demand for most top boards. Now I'm contested by at least 2 people every game since this video came out, thanks TFT Ninja

@@saiemkhan1329 I dont really know if it's late since I dont really follow much of the comp scene but it's just really funny and a bit annoying because I manually looked at metatft stats and trends and saw that no one really makes Varus their primary carry so I checked and no one was really playing this board. Had a good solid 10+ game top 4 streak going on when suddenly on the day this video got released I was hard contested every game and just as I suspected someone had made a video about this board. Also Subzeroark released his video on this comp so I think he's way more late lmao.

To be fair Rumble isn’t the best anti heal provider at later stages if not itemized and only 2 star

@@Hilight277 I thought the same thing, but after watching the video, I saw that he was always able to cast on frontline, usually hitting the main tank. Granted, the lobby didn’t have any crazy melee carries, but still, the point stands, Rumble was enough anti-heal.

notably, warmog (and other raw hp options) are weaker on the main tanks (tk, nasus) than resists are, due to the fact that nasus is a shapeshifter and tk arcana is 525/600+ hp, meaning belts should go towards evenshroud and redemption and warmog should be a last option slam if you're angling for a non-blaster line

warmogs provides percentage health increase as well so this is not true. if you look at build stats for TK and nasus, warmogs is in many of the best builds

This isn't true, warmogs gives %hp increase which means it scales incredibly well with both shapes and the flat hp that tk's arcana gives, it's also why protectors and crownguard are really good value items on those 2

Yeah I was struggling after I got to Emerald for the first time now, and just found this Arcana Varus comp that got me 3 1st places in a row because it's so uncontested. No one plays him so you just see him so quickly in your shop, and with double ie he just melts everything

How is guard breaker as an item in general? I feel like I never see that item talked about.

It's like a giant slayer but a bit weaker. Lots of shield units in this meta, so the dmg amp is almost always active. Problem is it gives health and crit chance - both 99% useless stats on carries. So you only really get the effect, and no base stats, which make it an underwhelming item.

To me, this item feels like a backup item, people only use it when they are desparate or they don't have better alternatives, similar to giant slayer

I'll say guardbreaker is good if your carry already has 2 items, guardbreaker always solid in that scenario. If you slam guardbreaker as 1st item or second item it's really underwhelming

Just did this with pandoras items and a trainer golem with blaster/bastion. Easiest 1st place of my life. 3-star hwei / Ezreal and 2 star varus all BIS. 6 bastion frontline going CRAZY

Two level 3 legendaries at level 8 is not a good example to analyze a comp and say if it is good or not since games like this do not happen often.

I love tft devs, bramble vest, and death blade allmost dead items from last 4 sets, now death blade is good on one unit 😂😂, i dont even remember when was the death blade bis item on any ad carry, the last one i remember apphelos 4 cost in set 5.5

@@danielvicho5338 he could do absolutely fine without even death blade his items were pretty flexible, runan, le, ie guinsoo all fine on him, but Apphelos was haf unit without death blade, without rage blade u can't even touch him without death blade u can't win lobby in set 5

@@danielvicho5338 I don't know I played lots off akshan in set 9 never felt I need death blade or it's very necessary for damage it was tempo comp u slam what u could for tempo on other hand I love Apphelos in set 5 but he do very little damage without death blade

I tried this comp earlier, just to get 5th place xD. Lost to 9 fraerie and a gwen 3. Unlucky timing. I'd argue that Varus still needs to be buffed to cast much more faster xD.
