Runed Stalactite is an amazing card with this deck btw. 1 MV 2 Equip gives the creature +1/+1 and all creature types removing the need to "level up" Frodo twice and just activate the second step. Its also a 25 cent card too.

Wouldn't the issue here being that the "level up" gives Frodo the ability to end the game? Otherwise he's just all types correct?

Of course, I pulled Frodo and knew I can make some bs happen, I’m a master of 5 color decks so cheesing out mana is 2nd nature

Isn't the skeleton key a bit redundant as the ring temptation mechanic already provides you with skulk at level one and draw at level 2?

Hope we get to see the faeries again. Its a shame they deck didnt get going. It seems pretty good on paper (cardboard 😅). I think swapping to the Alela as the commander might be the way to play it

Can you pump out a bunch of black mana and activate him 5 times and win from nowhere?

Frodo’s printed abilities are one time costs that grant him new stats/types/abilities. You don’t pay the second mana cost 5 times and make someone lose; you pay the first cost once then pay the second cost once, then if you have been tempted four times or more and Frodo connects with an opponent, that opponent loses.

Isn’t the triggered ability of Frodo’s tempting mechanic triggered only 1 time with double strike?

The key phrase is "whenever this creature deals combat damage". Creatures with double strike hit two separate times, so the trigger occurs twice.
