it may be "not the best" in terms of there being many more powerful legendaries in the set, but imo none of the others really change the game that much as so many of them are high-cost cards and we already have plenty of those. There are not that many 1 mana commanders, and only 3 (edit: 4, forgot about Valentin) of them have a color identity of 2 colors, and one of those requires you to discard a card to play it, making Frodo one of the two turn-1 multi-color commanders. And personally I'm not a big fan of Rhys the Redeemed, so it looks like Frodo here is my next commander. A lot of potential even outside of voltron, imo.

Very true! 2colored-1CMC commanders are very few and far between. Frodo is unique in more ways than one.

This commander looks interesting. In this set u can activate the ring's hability very fast but its an hability only for this set so u cant recieve support on the future.

Yeah, that's the only downside to the mechanic. Fortunately there are plenty of cards where the ring tempts you.

There's no point of having so many equipments if you can't be tempted fast enough

Once the ring is at max level, you don't have to go thru the work all over again.

Did you also try a tempt theme? This wya you dont have to drop forodo until you have the tempts you need

You could definitely add more cards that tempt you but when I designed/playtested this deck it was when Frodo was first spoiled and thus almost no cards in his color identity had the mechanic.

why play conspiracy over maskwood nexus? also im suspicious of vexilus praetor as it will remove all of frodo's equipment

Good point on Maskwood Nexus over Conspiracy. I figured that Conspiracy is harder to get rid of being an enchantment. Vexilus Praetor unequips everything attached to Frodo but most of that equipment is protective anyways. Once you have the ring at max, you can use that equipment to protect the praetor instead, and get Frodo through much easier.
