@@Tetrabiblo because animals in movies are usually cgi 😭. Maybe it would be a good idea, but idk. This business is the type to do crazy things to get their way & to get fame. So I wouldn’t want to see a bad result, although today is different than back then where they would be quite messed up with it. If you catch my drift, I don’t want to say what I mean though cause … ya know. It’s a sad reality.

Rob, Bryce, and Zuff, Frodo was played by two cats named Nico and Schnitzel. Lupita Nyong'o had asked Michael Sarnoski ( writer & director) if they could change the animal due to a fear of cats, which she overcame with cat therapy; by the end of production, she adopted a cat of her own. The script originally depicted Frodo as hissing and arching its back, a natural reaction to feeling threatened, which animal handlers could not train the cats to do; to avoid scaring the cats or using CGI, those elements were removed.

some ppl didn't like this one cuz it felt detached from the other two movies. i don't think it is. it just tells a different side of the story. i really liked it. and apocalyptic movies destroying NYC (where i grew up) is my fave lol. hearing your curiousity about the aliens' origin, reasons to come to earth, and the military maybe knowing about them, it would be interesting to see the next movie from the military's POV.
