I think my favorite thing about Cinnamon’s paintings is how sort of abstract and slightly wild they look up close, then once you back up it totally pops and comes together. I tend to be one of the meticulous types, and watching her paint reminds me that loosening up a bit can still yield a successful and thoughtful painting. Beautiful job Cinnamon!

I am so shocked. I know your awesome. This is over the top awesome. I cant wait to paint this. I have to do my dog Link. We had him since hurricane Katrina. He was 3 weeks old. He is a warrior in zelda the video game. He will be put down in Sept. I am doing a portrait. I am so disable he has been my caregiver. Of course my hubby & family. He has been in so much pain. It was a challenge to translate to watercolour but I enjoyed every minute, although the hot mess stage for the daisy lasted a very long time and I never thought it would come together,😀 but perseverance paid off and I am so happy with the results! I've been painting with you for a while and still always use the traceable. Learning to grid is too difficult for me ( despite your wonderful how to grid tutorial video) so free-handing it would most likely cause me distress as I can easily get critical with how my work turns out. I just always like for you to use whatever method that makes your painting identical to the traceable :)

Question: When using a grid, if your squares are approx 2cm on the pic and it is 5 squares high by 5 squares wide (equal 25 sqs) should you have 25 sqs on your canvas or do you go 2 cm per sq regardless of how many squares end up on your canvass. I am in the Gulf of Despair!!! lol I love your work and your personality. You are unique and lovely. Air hugs ... lol
