How Long Can I Survive Halo 3 ODST's Legendary Floodfight?

What's up my brothers (and sisters) from other mothers (and misters) today I bring you a cut of me playing ODST's new (it's 2 years old I'm just a boomer) floodfight mode on legendary. It was really tough but through the power of friendship and sweatiness I survived longer than I expected. How long was that, exactly? Well, you'll have to watch the video to find out.

fr. tbf tho they add like 50% inaccuracy for all allies in most of the halo games while the enemies have 100% accuracy (unless its built in like the H3 sniper jackals). Best example is CE marines when they turn hostile and almost every single shot from their ARs hit you.

As someone who grinds flood fight, I can say the elites won't carry you, but if you take care of them they can put in work too, They have shields unlike marines so they don't get insta killed by infection forms, and their melees can 1 tab unshielded flood (sometimes? they don't always do the super smack) Also on that map they like to just sit on the turrets, which is... less than ideal, but they are still helpful (more so on the other night map where you get elite allies)

If you want a real challenge, load up Halo CE Legendary on the mission Keys. At the beginning of the level before you jump into the coolant pitt, wait for Cortana to finish her dialogue telling you to jump down, you'll get a checkpoint and the endless flood horde will begin. My longest time was 57 seconds.

Pro-tip, when you get sentinels, Use the Plasma Pistol to Stun them, and then shoot them.

also use your night vision on night maps... Joking aside it lets you see invis enemies. Its actually shooting yourself in the foot if you don't use it on night maps.

I remember playing this mode with my little brother before we ever knew what the flood was. Definitely a frightening first impression. (We didn't live very long as we had no idea how to fight them or even how to fight pve at all for that matter. We typically just stuck to pvp at the time lol)

I can't blame you for missing those sticks, ODST has such a strangely different grenade throw arc compared to Halo 3. ODSTs ball harder than Spartans, I guess.

Best thing to give the elites is the fuel rod gun, also sentinels are busted bc the beam is, it is really good against a lot of combat forms, also battle rifle is broken.

Been playing halo 3 since it came out, pretty hardcore in PVP, this challenge wouldn't be too hard for me with practice

Why would you want elite allies when you couldve had odst ones given the game is halo odst not halo elite

Grenades in ODST have a much more pronounced trajectory and slower speed. I guess its to represent the fact you aren't a genetically engineered soldier, but it is really jarring to a player who is used to the normal grenade trajectory. It might be me, but it also feels as though it is thrown slightly higher (relative to crosshair) too.
