I love my anura rod. I caught a Georgia Trophy bass on a frog in high 50* water temps a couple of weeks ago!

I see it as a negative when your setting the hook especially on smaller bass. Seems like it would pull the bass forward some before the hooks start penetrating. I haven’t used it but it seems like that would happen. Kind of like setting the hook on a bass running towards you at high speed.

@@jamesbarron1202 Also, sometimes a bass will grab it's pray but not fully, then they'll suck it in all the way. The velcro could get stuck on their teeth and hinder that. I'm all for new ideas but this one isn't it IMO. As a matter of fact I WOULDN'T buy this frog just based on that.

@@Twangtown7 that idea came from the very old Culprit Sticky Worm. It’s no longer made. I think it was made in the 1970s thru the 90s. You can probably google it. Had a small strip of Velcro molded in between where the eye of your hook and the point would be if you Texas Rigged it.

I thought this guy was a mark zona by the way he looked
