I use to watch this man when I was 13 at my Grandma's home. I'm 54 now... I still fish with the rod and reel Mom bought me. The Daiwa Procaster SM1A, the one Bill used back on the day. The Bagley Bang-o-lures were the best top water lures Bill suggested back then. Would love to fish 1 time with him. Thanks for the 41 years of memories Bill.

It's crazy he doesn't have a lot more subscribers than he does, but this definitely takes me back to my childhood watching Bill on Saturday morning!

I still remember watching his bloopers over and over as a kid. Wish I could meet Bill one day out on the water, I'd freak out like a little school girl for a moment lol

Always appreciated that Bill would go fishing in a little modest boat that anyone could own.

Yet he goes to private stocked lakes where nobody else can go.

@@MotoAtheist Blasphemy, I fish in private ponds no one else can fish in and I'm certainly no Bill Dance

@@mikewerner1745 LOL! I have recently been given access to a private lake and I can assure you I'm not even Bill Dance's pinky finger and yet I'm easily catching 3 pounders continuously with larger ones in between. Fishing is easy in private lakes.

Bill, I have been a fan ever since I met you at a sportsmen's show in New Hampshire over 30 years ago. At that point I was all set to become a professional fisherman but alas my wife and family had other ideas. I do fish at least twice a week year round though. Now I am in Texas and retired. Thanks for the refresher on top water frogs.

Went out yesterday on my home lake from sunrise to sunset I was slaying the bass in every part of the lake with a BPS Poppin’ frog. When you lose count of the number of fish you’ve caught it’s been an great day! Even a 6.12 lber

It's funny how he's catching these big bass just fine without trying to yank their entire head off like so many other anglers do every time they get a strike.

I notice that you work the frog fast. I was taught that I should let it sit until the water settled, then work it with a few pops wait a bit, and start over? I'm, of course, going to speed up next time.
