I have no interest in vintage toys, nor have I ever collected anything other than Pokémon cards when I was a kid. I’m based in the countryside in England, am 30 years old working in finance, so this shouldn’t interest me. I’ve been a follower since you were on 20k followers & I still watch your videos - you’re a humble dude & you’ve not changed since 20k, even though your background has. I miss the old videos in the garage though ngl. I went through a breakup last year & I rewatched almost every single one of your videos, it helped me get through the tough out period of my life being away from my daughter for extended periods of time. I always wanted the full GI jJoe comic book run. GI Joe comics were like my introduction to collecting things when I was a kid. Throughout the years, I would buy them whenever I saw them. I still have all the ones I bought as a kid and the first ones my grandmother bought me.

I love GI Joe comics. In the 90's I bought most of the first 40 issues for ten cents each on clearance at Half Price Books. Over the last 5 years, I've been filling all the holes and putting together a full run. The hunt was a lot of fun. I found most of the expensive books fairly cheap, mostly in lots with 90's garbage comics or on Whatnot sales, where you could find some steals with little contest.

It must be nice giving some stuff back for good prices. This is definitely going into good karma points for future hunts. I have a love hate relationship watching these type of videos since yard sales and flea markets are not common or normal in Norway. I just really want to go out hunting myself, but there is little to no use here so I just by stuff from the internett instead. There are some decent second hand stores around at least and I get to live vicariously trough others YT videos :p

I just finished driving around Canada including Toronto (just for a vacation) and didn't see many signs for them. At least not nearly as many as in Indiana. On any given summer weekend in Indiana you will see at least one garage sale sign at most major intersections. Sometimes I've seen signs for 3 or 4 on the same telephone pole.

It takes a lot of hard work to get to the point where you can afford to give such amazing deals, but the payoff in the joy and gratefulness people feel is so worth it. I am in the middle of a move right now so I don't have much money. I mentioned this and a local seller here gave me a little stack of $10 worth of items for free after I was trying to haggle for it. Truly made my day and raised my level of respect for the guy so much. What might seem like a small amount or a small thing can make a world of difference to people, whether it's helping them collect items they normally couldn't afford, giving deals that help them put food on the table, or just bringing the shock and joy that one guy felt when he thought "two and a quarter" was in the thousands when it was really $225. I have also been giving away tons of unneeded things as part of my move and there really is nothing like watching people walk away with something they wanted and a big smile.
