That Time Warrior watch is a grail piece for me. I mailed away for it as a kid. Wore it into oblivion and would love to have it in my collection again. I never see them in the wild, let alone in prestine mint condition. Fantastic find! Thanks for sharing!

I have a complete, loose G1 collection, but the allure of boxed figures continues to heavily tempt me. It's always just been a lack of expendable cash obstacle for me. I've collected TFs since 1999, and they've always been too expensive for me. MAN, those you got in are so nice! Shame about the Robot Points, but that Tume Warrior is worth it. Honestly, at this point, id just like to have the instruction booklet for one. Ive got a few weird irems, like the Tyco train, but the Time Warrior itself was never for me, really. I still really appreciate what it is, though.

10yr old me cut the points off Prime so that I wouldn't cut up 4 other backing boards. As a kid I wasn't thinking of the value 40 yrs later.

I'm a bit confused. When the POP is cut out does that essentially make it "Mint loose with box" even if it has all the inserts and paperwork and hardly ever been played with (if at all) and has excellent boxes? Meaning - the tape seal and POP is "the money?" regardless if other qualities don't match up - say a worse box/but is has the POP and ragged yellow tape barely holding it together at this point. If I were buying this stuff I'd want the mint toy I could remove and display in front of the almost mint box (considering age) without the POP.

Yea I was at the toy show in Anderson. Saw the guy there with all the transformers. At first I was like no, gotta be fake cause of how clean and crisp the boxes were. Never have I've seen them in this condition anywhere. But as I was talking to the guy for a bit, I was convinced that they were legit. I did get his Jetfire though. It was the cleanest boxed I've ever seen! I also seen his mail aways. Ryan I almost got that watch but I've spent my limit on Jetfire. So you welcome...lol!

Usually the proof of purchase from that item or a combination of the same toys you had to send into to redeem bonus items free with your proof of purchase. Some of this redeem items are also very hard to find and are very cool adding to your overall collection.

Seems strange that way even if the parents were buying stuff for their kids that they were not allowed to open but cut out the pop for a mail away item.

You are probably right there also, different toy/collectable company did both at times, im in Australia and most here especially trading cards also you either got some free bonus items/cards or you could buy extra items at reduced prices, like trading cards folders hence some folders very hard to find here now so you are right also. I’m guessing they brought them to collect and decided to get the extra item/bonus as it looks like they cut the coupon out fairly well not damaging rest of packaging from what I can see. Where you had to buy like a full set of toys etc, made the redeemed item harder to find now as only collectors would have had full sets to redeem against one off maybe gift/birthday purchases and some didn’t get redeemed etc as package was opened and binned without seeing offer possibly. Anyway always nice talking to fellow collector, hope I help a little hi from Australia, and god bless Amercia.
