No. I classify FL as a Tier 1-2 which means it has 1-2 different melting points, where Tier Three has 3 different melting points. Because of this, T3 provides greater protection, requires less lubrication, and stays on longer. Here is what I will say outside of that. Every company at some point sacrifices quality for profit. I didn’t when creating T3. Every ingredient is the purest and highest of quality available on the market today. If you look at another companies 4/8 oz liquid cost to produce plus markup, T3 cost more to produce than their cost/mark up combined, due to the higher quality ingredients used. With that being said I am always a big supporter of other good products. If you like Frog Lube or any other lube out there and believe in their cause, keep supporting them. 🙏

We use high end racing oil. The millions of dollars put into that market is mind blowing, more than the firearms industry for sure. The racing oil is used lightly and thickens when the system is cool. Bought a quart years ago and barely made a dent in the bottle. Stop buying tiny bottles of overpriced crap...

We cleaned 3 firearms completely first with Hoppes #9, then we used a denatured alcohol to strip out everything else, then a quick bath in 91% rubbing alcohol, just to be sure that we stripped every last bit of lube from them. We then heated the barrels in an oven to 155 degrees, and applied Tier 3 lube as directed. We let them cool, then wiped to remove excess. Then we put 300 rounds through each firearm. How well did it work? Well, we went ahead and switched to Tier 3 lube for all of our training firearms. 8 handguns of various calibers, 2 shotguns and 5 different rifles. They run reliably and clean easily. We are strong believers in this product and recommend it to our customers. I cannot stress enough how much easier it is to clean the firearms when using the T3 system. Oh, and no nasty smell.

Came to comment on how disgusting (to me) lube oozing from the everything is - even while in service and the idea was "soak it in CLP" - and stayed for the unnecessary-very thoughtful acknowledgement that, just because a product is used with gentler ingredients doesn't mean no one ever will have an allergic reaction. It's always the most random thing that trips someone's allergies. Well done, as always.

After trying so many products, I stuck with Super Lube Silicone Lubricating Grease with Syncolon. It is NLGI Grade 2 and has a operating range better than petroleum-based lubricants [-40°F to 500°F]. It has excellent water protection and it is a moisture barrier.. It is dielectric, food grade, clean and environmentally friendly. Works fantastic for me HOWEVER, after seeing your product and demonstration, I want to freeze a rifle to see how it does. Now you got me curious. I think I will also try your product. I am always looking for the best of the best after trying damn near everything over the years. No one likes a jam am I right? The one thing I liked hearing was your product gets into the micro grooves and it has several melting points so theoretically adding lubricity as your gun get hot and obviously in a percussion rhythm.

DO NOT LUBE the piston rod of any PWS rifles. Remember guys, the surfaces on the piston head is what interacts with the gasses from the barrel, any amount of lube on it will only act like glue for carbon and stick more carbon to the piston. LUBE ONLY the carrier rails and bolt.

Trichloroethylene, any of this in the product? Im asking because it is a neurotoxin used in some gun lubes that people don't have enough awareness of. All due respect i was always taught never add lube to the Glock safety plunger, it attracts dirt and carbon.

That is why I said only to add enough to remove restrictions between the plunger and slide. Then wipe as much off as possible. However with T3 it’s not like other lubes and will not attract dirt to that level. 🙏

Luv ya man but I think this is all wrong! I use Frog lube and I have learned that the parts should be heated up with a variable temp heat gun to open things up before you apply. Let it dry sometimes overnight for me mostly because i am old but then I wipe off all until dry.
@frogmantactical Жыл бұрын
Great topic. If you want to take the time to do that then by all means do so. When you shoot the parts will heat and do the same thing on the fly. From our testing in this manner versus heating parts and soaking, there isn’t that much of a difference, if any at all to justify doing all that for me personally however if I was going to be exposed to wet/humid environments, I’d definitely take more time to do that prior to operations. The reason we don’t advocate for the heat treatment is due to the difference of effects is minimal and less than 1-2% of buyers will be in those environments. However we will be doing another video covering that topic. We also clean our guns often, especially after wet training, so any expose to those types of environments won’t do any damage do to lack of exposure time. 🙏

@frogmantactical Жыл бұрын
Depends on humidity levels. We will be doing another video going over heat soaking soon if you choose that method. I personally don’t but it’s definitely and option for long term storage of long term field uses. What makes T3 so good is there is no alcohol or base products that aren’t chemically bound together. 🙏

@frogmantactical Жыл бұрын
How would you verify it? Do you have 6 years to invest into it like I have? Are you more capable than I am to put it in the right environments? Do you have more access to guys that test it in harsher conditions or down range overseas like I have over the past 4 1/2 years? Do you have more guns to test it on? Or perhaps thousands of rounds to waste to test? Most likely you don’t so your testing wouldn’t compare to what we’ve already done. Not only that I offer a 100% buy back no questions asked and a purchase of any lube the person wants for free if they don’t like T3. My products aren’t designed to meet customer standards. They are designed to meet my standards from my real world experience and when my standards are met at my level of overall operational capabilities, then it will serve those who aren’t at my level even more so. I will never try to convince anyone to buy what I offer. I present it and if it appeals to you, great, If not, great. Life moves on either way. God bless 🙏

@@frogmantactical ya I was hoping you would not take this wrong, has it been tested by an outside group against other gun lubes? Aka at what temp does it freeze at? Show at what temps others freeze at, show how it does not attract dirt, how much viscosity does it lose it higher temperature is compared to other gun lubes … are use motor oil for example consumer reports did a study on regular motor oil versus synthetic they said the synthetic was not even comparable like on a completely different scale it was so slippery where does yours land,
@jackieow Жыл бұрын
This guy is nuts. You want zero lube on the firing pin and zero lube in the channel where the firing pin travels. Anything else and it can get sticky and sluggish depending on future risks and luck, of which there are two kinds of luck. No reason to tempt Murphy's Law. The best precaution for firing pins is: totally totally totally dry.
@frogmantactical Жыл бұрын
What’s nuts is you have a video right in front of your face and can’t even follow along with simple instructions. No one said to put lube in the firing pin area. I said just the opposite yet I said I will apply a very light coat and then wipe it off if I feel the need for it. Pay attention buddy. 🙏
@jackieow Жыл бұрын
If you lube the firing pin and don't get it all wiped off, you end up with lube on the firing pin and in the hole. Accidents happen, like your position is attacked and you don't have time to be finicky about how you slap everything together when seconds count and your life is on the line. But if there is no lube on any of it at any time in the first place, there is no risk. Which is why it is safer to clean the firing pin with solvent that can evaporate, and then there is no risk. You are right 99% of the time, I am talking about the 1% of the time when Murphy's Law is ruling the roost. At 5:09 to 5:10 do we see you wiping it dry when you reassemble? No, we don't see you wiping it dry. That is the kind of oversight that can get people killed, especially if you habitually forget to wipe your firing pin dry and accumulate goo with dust, including down the hole where it's hard to get at and hard to inspect. If it ain't combat ready it don't fly. @@frogmantactical
@frogmantactical Жыл бұрын
Your inability to wipe down your pin isn’t my problem. I explain it in detail. I’m not here to hold your hand. In the very beginning I flat out say if you don’t have a professional mindset don’t buy this lube. It couldn’t be anymore clear than that. 🙏
@jackieow Жыл бұрын
You are trying to change the subject because you know you are wrong. And the more you wiggle the more you prove you are self-conscious about being caught. It isn't about me being "unable" to wipe down a firing pin. Anybody can be caught in a surprise situation and not have the time to do it right which is the reason there should be no lube on the pin in the first place. And it doesn't matter whose brand of lube is being used the wrong way, which is another layer of phony distraction you are trying to pull. Nobody's lube should be on the pin to create a risk in the first place. And for all your huffing and pretending, we can see at 5:09-5:10 you yourself didn't wipe the firing pin down before re-assembly. You inserted it with the lube still on it, so you fool nobody. Especially when you don't follow your own advice.@@frogmantactical
