Great show, but just as they did with LOST, they are starting too many open-ended plots and going off in too many directions and introducing a whole new cast each season without explaining mysteries that happened last season. Call me cynical, but I fear they don't have a clear vision on where this show is going, and they are going to GOT season 8 it.

Did anyone notice that when Tea cup was in the clinic and spoke to the old lady from the bus he asked her SPECIFIC questions concerning where she was going and where she came FROM...she seemed confused and said "I have been to many race tracks all over the country..." She also didn't seem to know if the bus was a charter. Lastly, when Jim asked about what was in her clutch bag; she said "you ask alot of questions..." I theorize that if you ask everyone on the bus where they got on the bus that they will say different locations and they were going to different locations...

Honestly I don't really take buses and took one years back, not even sure what the difference between a charter and stuff is. So I can forgive her for not knowing. Buuuut... The fact she said she use to go to races a lot has me wonder if she drove herself or took buses.

It was weird when the exit sign flickered right before the old lady went in looking for Marielle & Kristi. It made me wonder if it was a sign, idk maybe the old lady isn’t what they think. She does seem a little off and weird to me. She was way to calm during the first night when Donna had them all in the diner with the shot gun.

Well, I would agree to disagree, but we have 7 episodes left. So there's plenty of time for a major build up. But man, I haven't had this much interest in a either a television or streaming series sense Ozarks or Game of thrones. I mean this show has the kind of original, plot, which would be like in a Stephen King novel.

I felt like this was such a waste of an episode. They missed so many things! Forget the wires, im mad no one talked about how the monsters had been living under their house this entire time! And with Kelly, it seems like the monster MO completely changed. When did they start leaving their victims alive and recognizable with organs still intact lol? Why didn't they find Brian's body, b/c they clearly wanted them to find Kelly's attached to the tree? And it felt like they just threw Sarah in at the end, like "oh, i almost forgot, here is Sarah". There was just no build up for me

Soooo true! How have they not communicated about the caves! We have a theory that the town doesn't like you communicating too much so that's why Victor only draws. It 'pushes back' if you pass too much correct info across, like with the radio and the storm. What do you think?

Could be because the other monster on the forest who used to torture Martin died and Boyd escaped. So they turn to Kelly with help from the monster who mangle victims.

Monsters change their MO, for example they don't scream like they used to. Nothing new here, but the fact that they do adds to the scary part a lot, mental warefare is scary in itself. I don't think Kelly and Brain situation was created by the monsters, I mean they did it, but the real mastermind was the new threat which Boyd brought, which as Sarah said, laughed at Boyd - mocked Boyd. Somehow it kept Kelly alive (like Martin?) until Boyd shows up to make him do what had to be done and mess with his mind even more, but there is a clue here, well, either they can read their freaking minds or there is a considerable foreknowledge somewhere out there about the people who come to the town. There are many clues about things happening in the real world that have some kind of connection to Fromland, a small but interesting and unressolved one is how did Bakta's grandmother know a nursery rhyme from the Fromland? NOOO do not put Sarah in the box! I'm with Boyd, especially after Sarah's talk with Kenny which confirmed a prediction that people dying in this place may in one way or another become a part of the nighmare, I was basing it only on the fact that monsters look like normal townfolks just from a few decades ago, but after what Sarah had said and how adamant Boyd feels about the box I mean if there is even a slitghest chance that death feeds this place in any way, well imho no killing rule is what they should go back to. Apart from Ethan, Sarah seems to be the most important character at this point in time and there are no wasted scenes, this is the scene where the "one thing this town has going for it", trust in Boyd, starts crumbling down, a very important scene, imho. Boyd gets shot at the end because no one is backing up his six and all of it starts right here.

Not sure if Im remembering correctly but... Did anyone else notice that Kelly said she did not feel pain when they first found her. She was talking fine for a bit until Boyd came then she began screaming in pain. She was even fine when the ran off to get the nurse which imm sure took some time.

I am so glad you made a video on this, I also found that interesting. The creatures that took her and Brain I'm sure was in 1st season. the guy said hello Julie in 1st episode and the girl was in the colony house when they got in. maybe they have evolved as Boyd said they used to howl until the talisman arrived and with all these changes they have changed again, becoming more human in a sadistic way and that is why there is more thought to their killing, smiling guy on bus being fascinated with the wheel. I believe they was human before.

If you re-watch, they did say there was no way to save the girl with the rod in her head, Kristi said it would take a 15 hour operation but they would still have to detach the rod from the tree first and she would probably die anyway... Girl was dead when they jammed that rod thru her brain... My question is: how'd they know HOW and WHERE to jam that rod so she was still alive but nothing could save her... And we haven't seen them actually EAT anyone, we are assuming that they're eating the insides out...

And yeah, I do kinda agree a bullet to the head would have been better, but she wasn't feeling anything until Boyd got near them??? I think those "blood worms" deflects whatever "magic" these creatures have, like the talisman's do, and once Boyd got near them, she started screaming... just a thought...

This episode would have been fine if the characters had communicated the new things they've learned, instead of keeping it secret. This would have been a perfect episode for the characters to have big discussions with each other about the caves, about the voice on the radio who knew things, that guy who had a dream and what it was about, etc.

And to me the man in the picture that was in the journal, is Victor's father, and Jade will have the same role as him. Victors father probably started to see the symbol as Jade, and that made him snap (like its happening to Jade) then, somehow Victor's father couldnt take it anymore and started killing everyone in town, Victor was hidding in that place when we see him as a kid coming out to find for the first time the boy in white.. thats why victor doesnt talk about his dad, because he has that trauma. And the violin belongs to his dad as well, its all connected.. i think Jade will have a sad ending

THe monsters kill people slowly, it's been established they play with their food well earlier. My guess is that the monsters are trying to break the people. Remember that they used to scream until they got the talismans. I think the screaming was to scare people. While I could see the feeding-on-fear, I think they are there as the main force that puts emotional strain. Also the symbols on the talismans are Kaballah. I would also say Tom was pretty chill.

@@FilmVist I don't remember what video I saw it in, but they were talking about the talisman symbols, I think the kaballah or Hebrew comment was briefly touched on. BUT there w as a specific quote about how the showrunners in some stream said that the talismans are made up of 12 different symbols that each have a significant meaning, and that the characters in teh show don't know what they mean.

I believe escalating the horror overall & the, stress, suspicion, so on, among the towns people is one of creating a 2nd season of A mystery show without revealing the underlying mystery, yet again. We still don't know the most basic of questions regarding where they are or who brought them there & how. I suspect we won't know that when this season ends either. So, instead of monsters disguised as humans that walk around at night now, they are sadistic monsters that want to torture & torment people both physically & mentally. Chrissy playing nurse, doctor, ER surgeon, so on is starting to get a bit corny at this point. The woman's head is impaled with an iron rod & she's telling her to "squeeze my hand". I honestly would not have been surprised if Chrissy said, "hold on, I think have the cure for this in my bag of bullshit". Elevate your feet, squeeze my hand, pull my finger, drink this water & you'll be recovered from that severe car wreck, cranial impalement, building collapse, Alzheimer's, in no time!! Oh Boyd, you some type of paranormal worm blood? I think I have some bullshit for you. Just follow my finger with your eyes first!!

The male monster from the bar scene was originally in S1E1. He was the monster that spoke to Julie. The female I don't think we've seen before. But I have a theory that the monsters can change their "costume." In one of the mini-trailers MGM+ plays in front of features, I swear we see the smiley monster from the bus with different hair. Also, there is a clip from an upcoming episode where the monsters are attacking the bus again. The hosts played it several times in this vid. The camera is panning to the left after you see Gramma monster (my favorite). And there is a monster with hands on the window moving aggressively. Pay attention to the hair. I'm not gonna even say what I think because it seems silly. But does that monster resemble anyone in the main cast to anyone else?

Idk, i think it was right to try and pull it out. The gun wouldve just outright killed her, but maybe just maybe, there was some hope of a miracle she might survive when it got pulled out. Something odd started started happening when they started to go for it though, maybe she just started to become in shock and made the death a lot more quick who knows there are just a lot of factors to think about.

I think they should have been burning the bodies the monsters killed and fed on instead of burying them. What if the monsters are transfering something to the bodies and they leave the bodies for them to bury and they steal the bodies later and chain the people like martin to host the larve and then they come out but Boyd disrupted the cucle and gave it to the monster and instead of eating their way outta martin they ate their way out of the monster and became cicada. I know, I tend to over think. But this show, OMG ❤
