How wonderful he was able to persuade his wife. It's the worst thing, how people working in the mainstream healthsystem hold their spouses back from healing, because of what they've been taught. It must be so hard to be controlled so much by someone. The way his wife unknowingly has tortured her husband all those years, because of her training and beliefs. I sure hope and pray for him, that this will be a huge wake-up call for his wife, and that she will let him complete his journey and get his life back.

My wife did look in to the studies now and is changing her knowledge she is updating as a mater of speaking and She will help her patients now also in a better way 🥰

Yes, Kerry, yes!! You are so right. I began my journey for health reasons, mildly overweight but nothing too bad. I guess I have lost 20lbs and am now 9st. I’m 5’2” and 67 years old, just below the weight I was at 16. But I started because I watched Dr Tim Noakes talking about diabetes and the low fat high carb lifestyle he followed like religion. I did that, raised my kids like that, convinced I was doing the absolute best for my loved ones. I was so fearful that I would develop diabetes that I immediately went keto and gradually became carnivore, four years ago or so. Unfortunately I am unable to persuade my family to follow me and God knows they need to. But I am writing this to say that you are so right in saying that we are future-proofing ourselves from dementia, cancer, heart disease. I know that if my poor diet past catches up and I develop any of these horrors I shall fast for 4 or 5 days at a time and eat cleanest lion. But for now I’m carnivore eating all meats and fish, eggs and some dairy. On social occasions I do keto just to blend but it does mess up my guts for a few days.

Welcome to the Carnivore Party Bruno! Glad to hear you are able to reduce the Insulin so quickly since one of insulins functions is a growth hormone that puts fat on the body. I want you to be NOT afraid of your bone strength on the Carnivore diet and know it only gets better from here. I am a 67 yo F, at age age 60 I was diagnosed with full blown osteoporosis with a score of -6.5, started Keto in June of 2021, went Carnivore in June of 2022 and in July of 2022 I broke a bone in my foot (certainly not as sever as yours), when it was x-rayed I told the doc I had been Dx'd with osteoporosis and doc told me his x-rays indicated MILD osteopenia. WIN! This way of eating is amazing, fear NOT your bones ability to support your body as you travel through this process. Thanks Kerry for bringing us another AMAZING truth health example.
@frannypalmer27268 ай бұрын
Excellent news about the osteoporosis! I was diagnosed with osteopenia back in 2016. I was 59. I refused to take fosamax. Toxic! I refused to stop doing what I have always done. But I did quit smoking. I don't know if it's better or not now. I've had 1 bone density test since then and it said I was stable. I was on keto for awhile but I feel off mostly. Off and on again. I want to try carnivore but I like drinking and I love picante sauce. So .... We'll see. The pain gets bad sometimes. When I was on keto the pain went away. I'll just keep on trying😁.
