40:52 A bit confused why you decided to give red SA back. Wouldn’t it have been smarter to bring 3 down from Iceland to defend that border? If he suicides into you by rolling 16 v 12 the bot would’ve cleaned up most of Africa and you would’ve killed red the next turn. Edit: I see in the end it worked out cause red suicides into the bot but let’s say it didn’t, then you would’ve had to fight red and black on your borders rather than just black

In the long run, having red suicide into his 12, allows purple to take the advantage of a significant troop lead. You also risk not being able to kill read if black didn't clean up most of Africa, and you also may have to make a troop deficit move by killing red and not getting enough troops back in the set. Fixed cards are usually not profitable to make kills as a general rule. Most importantly, as we can clearly see from the result, purple is a much much much better player than red, so it benefits Pete in the long run to have red strong, and as an Ally, because they can both take down the good player, purple, and then Pete will have a better chance at winning if he faces a weaker player in Red in a 1v1. In the end it doesn't matter though, because red was so bad, that he chose to disadvantage himself, instead of taking a free advantage.

Sounds like something is wrong with the device you are playing with... like a jammed arrow key on a keyboard or a connected controller with a thumbstick held sideways (dont know if this applies) but that's the feeling I get from what you are describing

I’m playing on Steam. I disconnected my keyboard and mouse by removing the batteries and it still happened. I’ll remove them all properly and start it up again to see if it works. Other than that, I’m stuck. Thanks for the help

In game #1, why does Magenta kill you? I think it is a really bad play. i) You already showed that you are a player who is reasonable, by moving out of Australia ii) He loses troops doing the kill, you have 27 troops and 4 cards, the kill will cost him a lot more than he gains iii) It helps the other players on the board to just settle the other bonuses and removes extra tension, which would have been there otherwise(you really don't want that playing from Australia)

Green isn't as good as we thought. Green should of gone to europe, then africa, then SA to break all bonuses and then retreated all units to europe so his massive army has many directions to get out if threatened.
