Sorry you and Quality have parted ways, I can travel now without having to look for blue trucks and your chicken hanging on the window, hope he’s still going to travel with you. Because of you I got to see a lot of beautiful country and learned a lot about the trucking industry, thank you. A new chapter in your life and hopefully we’ll learn something new also. Good luck and thanks for letting us ride Shotgun.

I'm just seeing this just now, and learned of your loss of your job. So sorry. Your videos brought back memories of when I travelled a lot of those same highways in Arizona and New Mexico, Texas, etc on my way to Arkansas and Alabama and Kentucky visiting relatives, weddings, funerals, etc. Praying that your new job will open new doors for you, and that you can continue to share with us your vlogs. God bless you, Mountain Mike.

Hella happy to see you ok, was beginning to worry. Feeling sorry for Quality right about now bc they really don't know wtf they doin when they let priceless experience go. But life will go on without them because you are Mountain Mike with or without their trucks. This closer-to-home video makes me feel even closer to you and I know you will be ok - just hope you take us with you on your next life chapter. btw, my youngest son lives in CO and that is the reason I started watching your channel. Since then, we have bought a place in CO and we love the snow and the change of pace from hellish CA. Thanks for that Mike. You may want to consider becoming a full time you-tuber - you have the subscribers #s and the view#s - and then you may have the time to comment/answer some of our questions/comments -jk. Can't lie, your audio sucks, but nothing you can't fix with equipment tweaking.

Hi Mike. Sorry to hear you were sacked from Quality, especially the way they did it. Well it's their loss letting your experience and your strong work ethic go. Seems like the "Quality " was in at least one driver, not the management. Great news you've got another drive, a quality driver like you shouldn't be left out of the industry that's having difficulty attracting good people. Hope your new drive works out well for you in terms of the work and the company. All the best from a retired trucker in Australia. Seeya!

10 and a half years of loyalty to Quality, and they fire you at a moments notice. What a freaking dick move they did to you! Looks like Quality is the next company who requires a reality check, getting too big for their britches, when the owner doesn't give a crap. Well good luck them trying to find another great worker like you, they can go F themselves. Nice bike dude, it gets up and goes, and is something that you can actually ride. I consider getting into oil trucking an upgrade, especially if Hazmat requirements are imposed. You now are working I think you said 130,000 gross, so that should also equal more pay per month as well.

Because the owner of Quality is obviously a dick, who cares more about profit coming in, then the livelihood if their drivers! The owner was perfectly willing, to leave Mike stranded where he was. Sometimes companies get too big for their britches, this is evidence of that, the owner needs a reality check. Maybe one day Quality will go bankrupt cause they got no more good drivers to deliver freight. As the emperor would say in Star Wars, only at the end, will he understand.

You were making too much money. They were probably looking for a reason to kick you out the door for a long time but you didn't give them anything remotely like a reason. They will pay the next guy a lot less money and they will get a lot less in return. It's their loss and somebody else's gain.

10 years with one company and just because you didn't want to sit around with your thumb in your nose after 4 days sitting and you even offered to pay for the trip That is a perfect example of how companies don't give two F's about their employees and how easily they can replace you regardless of how many years you worked for them or how good of employee you may be Before I was forced into retirement due to medical reasons people used to say I had a bad attitude when it came to my employers if I found a better job that paid more no I wouldn't give them a two-week notice they wouldn't give me one I drove tow truck for 22 years and the one thing I learned in all that driving all the 24-hour shifts 6 day weeks missed thanksgiving's missed Christmases missed birthdays the one thing I learned about every company I worked for is you're only as good as your last tow
