T Jones repeat for a month , within 4 or 5 minutes

Takeb three lines read it 5 times first, then listen to those recitation of three lines from a sheikh of your choice 10 times. Then ayat by ayat memorize. After memorizing read it 5 time more, then without looking say 5 times more. Take break of 2 mins and see if you can remember it. If so, read it using the recitation 5 times and InshAllah you won't forget. If three lines a day is not possible, just do one ayat but keep trying. Allah himself said I have certainly made the Quran easy to remember, so is there anyone who will do so? InshAllah you will succeed. I did too. May Allah help you.

@Ak7kid a lot of those zikr were ayahs from the quran and also it is like reading quran which is also zikr. Hence both have a melodious voice ONLY to beautify the worship of the creator. If you do it to show off or for entertainment then we are spoiling what could be a very beneficial deed.

salamwalay kum brother i know how hard it is.. even i was a addict..previously tried a lot but couldnt get rid of it actuly the truth is as a person gets sick he should be admited to hospital to get cure in hospital atmospher and care and medicen he is cured ..and on dat he stays away from all those factors which got him illness...so i hnestly suggest u to go in 40days jammat or 4months of jammat in atmosphere of masjid and aamals 5salah on time wit jammat and all zikar n listening to hadits and all aamals dat raise ur imman plus u atomaticaly stay away from sins for 40days or 4months this helps u rais ur iman to a level dat u can restrain from sins. and lead a life full of aamals wen u come back from jammat. stayin at home and doing aamals wil help u temporaryly coz u have not yet recoverd from ur temptations and addictions so as time goes due to curse of sin caused by addiction and temptation u will eventuly leave ur aamal as ur sins have overcome ur god deeds hope this helps u .. let me know wat u think jazakallah

I used to live for food. I couldn't imagine not thinking all the time about it. My wires were crossed since I was probably 4, and half of my mind was always on food, despite being a very busy and successful mother and community member. I'm a Qur'an teacher and I love Allah, but this was my horrible secret. On Hajj, I begged Allah to heal me. I couldn't imagine how. I was led to Overeaters Anonymous. It's been a miracle. Admit to Allah you're powerless over this addiction, He's powerful and that you ask Him for help. You're in my prayers.
