I really want to applaud you greatly for your share on AA, you told my story, I love AA it built my foundation, it is a wonderful design for how to live and maneuver this crazy thing called life, cause drunk or sober things ain't always peachy keen and us alkies need direction but mostly we need self esteem and to make amends, to forgive, to get past trauma that may have set us off in a downward spiral to begin with. Quitting drinking really is the first step or at least get it arrested for a little while but I would highly suggest AA to help with the dry drunk syndrome, cause we all need to love ourselves and we all deserve that, those 12 steps was pure bliss for me now with Naltrexone I feel like I can relax, I got that monkey off my back, if I want to have a glass or 3 of wine after work I can! However I just never do,,🥹 I like herbal tea on ice, cause going to the gym is my high cause I love myself and I want to live a long happy life, I really don't think it could be this good without both AA and Naltrexone, I highly recommend both❤❤❤❤

Love u both so much. I’m 62 and ASD began virtually overnight for me. I thought I could stop this anytime but alcohol was so nice at first. I actually slept better and it not only made me happy but numbed My physical pain at the time. Now I am stuck with it! But…. After finding you on KZbin I convinced My reluctant Dr to prescribe Naltrexone… whilst I’m still drinking after one month on it I can feel a shift. I dosed up slowly as advised as it does make you sick and am now on the full dose. I’m already not obsessing as much and wine does not taste as great. I come from a long line of bad drinkers so I think I always knew it could be in me too. Your tips have been great. Drs just can’t know everything and I plan to educate mine 😉ps I’ve been drinking for 2 years

That's so awesome and encouraging. I'm trying to temper my enthusiasm before I dive in to TSM on a personal front, but whether I succeed or fail I truly think this will prove to be a revolution in recovery. It seems so obviously correct, I can almost feel it.

That aversion therapy. My god. How is that not criminal malpractice? Oh wait Antabuse is still regularly prescribed to people. So much for the Hippocratic oath. Great interview Katie and Brenda! Thank you both. ❤

Antabuse is not used anymore in western Europe because of the harm.

Katie, you make an impression of being such an incredibly educated, intelligent and beautiful young woman. It's hard for me to imagine how you could have been suffering so much that you turned to alcohol to escape. I am 63. I've lost my career, my family, my youth. (Because of other circumstances, not drinking.) What do I have other than alcohol? However what pushed you to drink? A death of a loved one? A bad divorce of your parents? God bless you and I hope that you find happiness in your life.

Well, I have a pretty dark past that probably doesn’t come through in most of my videos. That’s the power of TSM, inner healing, and what God can do. I hope and pray that you find freedom from problem drinking as well. It’s never too late.

@@thrivealcoholrecovery I understand. Don't we all. I just hope that you are able to heal from your traumas and find true and lasting sobriety. As a sober, healthy woman I think that you have an incredible amount to offer as a wife and a mother. And you can save a little of your wild side for your husband in the bedroom. ;)

I would love to have a Q&A with the people you interview...I would love to ask them how many milligrams were they taking...how long it took for them to see a "sign" of something changing. I think I need to have support of those who have similar drinking & type of alcohol, and what they did, how they found it going in the beginning and the "change" in mindset.

Hi I’m a little confused as to what the TSM way is ? I keep hearing that phrase alongside Neltrexzone
@thrivealcoholrecovery10 ай бұрын
Hi! TSM, the Sinclair method, is a specific way to take naltrexone that results in pharmacological extinction of an alcohol addiction. In simple terms, it’s almost like the alcohol addiction gets reversed inside the brain. It involves taking the medication one hour before consuming alcohol. This is the specific protocol we specialize in and support people through. I’ll leave a link to our website where you can learn more about the treatment. 🙏 www.thrivealcoholrecovery.com/the-sinclair-method

What a ridiculous and uneducated comment. Do some due diligent research, before making a fool of yourself on a global platform. 🤦♂️
