I always have tons of respect for people playing on random pianos in public. I once played Rachmaninov prelude op. 23 no. 5 on a full size grand that was sitting in the center of the shopping mall, and my heart was pounding from nervousness.

no one mentions the amazing transitions between each song. you are playing very complicated, crowded songs. that must be hard for your hands just after one song, but you didn't even take a break. insanity! incredible skill.
@DynasticDannyАй бұрын
Appreciate your acknowledgement! Yes, that's an important aspect to address... As long as I stretch and warmup my hands/fingers for a few minutes before playing it should be alright. It's easy to become tense after a certain period of doing something as intricate such as the moonlight sonata 3rd movement. So I have to be aware of how it's feeling and to let it breathe. My practise sessions have been quite intense, where I do a plethora of repetitions. I get massages occasionally which helps significantly. Thank you

To play a wrong note is understandable, to play without passion, is inexcusable, Beethoven. As an advanced classical pianist, I could relate he played with passion, well done. I can't believe there were idiots who would listen to this and just walk by, and not appreciate it. However, at least enough people did the guy is a classical MASTER. That is one of the toughest compositions to master, there are so many intricate details, it is easy to make an error.

Awesome job being self taught, playing from memory and only 16 years/o. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Keep going!!! Question: how many years did it take you to become this good?
@DynasticDanny2 ай бұрын
Hi Micheal, great question and thanks for asking! My journey with the piano has been quite a rollercoaster ride. I’ve been casually playing since primary school - whenever I had a break, I’d sneak off to the piano rooms (I still do, haha) and mess around with a few pieces I picked up by ear and KZbin tutorials, like bits of Passacaglia and the first movement of Moonlight Sonata, as I have not yet acquired sheet music. The real learning began about four years ago, around 2020. I dove headfirst into the deep end by starting with Beethoven’s 3rd movement of Moonlight Sonata, a piece that’s notoriously difficult and a turmoil of sentiment. From there, eventually over time I worked on scales and technique. It’s been a lot of repetition, building routines, and staying consistent and disciplined. That’s how I’ve gotten to where I am now, and I’m still pushing to get better, almost every day.
@michael17042 ай бұрын
@@DynasticDanny Thank you for your comprehensive answer. You should be very proud of your achievement. I’ve been thinking about teaching myself to play piano and that’s why I was curious about your journey. Best wishes for all your future endeavors.

Dear TheeJeffrocco, Money is what it's all about. I pray for him and others. Some have applied KZbin and social media savvy to put the instrument "somewhere" -- even in the bathroom and dig up views and subscribers. --------------------- YT becomes the middleman. Place a camera and a mic, and one "becomes his own man" in the middle.

Bro i get why you play those hard pieces nearing the end, it shows alot of skill. But in my opinion they don’t sound as good as the easier pieces you were playing more in the beginning. And to the audience who probably aren’t piano players will probably be more impressed by the slower popular songs like lalaland and golden hour. Although crazy playing!👏
